We were able to host a fellow law enforcement agency for SWAT practice at our training house and they were nice enough to let me stick around and document 📸🎥

Train like your life depends on it, because it does. 👊🏼🚔

Hey guys!

So I’ve been working a lot behind the scenes and although it may seem like I have been kind of quiet but you’ll start to see some little things popping up! First is I’m starting to redesign my website.

Under my shop menu I limited the number of options. I started with general responder categories (forensics, police, fire, dispatch) and then added a departments page to consolidate all individual departments in one location so the website menu isn’t as long! I also added a contact form for the bottom if you’re interested in getting department merchandise for your agency. I am going to charge a small art fee for new patch/badges if the order is small but you order several things or have several people order it will be waived. I’ve been slowly adding new products, with more new and restocked options coming soon! I added a search bar and it was HORRIBLE so that’s still a work in progress.

I’ve also updated my training page with upcoming and past trainings, including some fun photos and course descriptions. Once I get my academy days scheduled I hope to add some fall in person training options and webinars.

Next up will be a resources tab, but I won’t be revealing that until my IAI presentation this August!

Turn the volume up 🔊

That sound? That’s evidence waiting to be found.
Because we can’t process what we don’t recover and every detail matters.

Special thanks to for hosting this amazing workshop at the 2026 WAI conference!

Grateful for another opportunity to teach at WAI 2026. This year I focused on taking latent prints beyond the basics 🔍🫆
We explored numerous methods to tackle textured surfaces, an intro to fluorescent powders, wet powder (adhesive surfaces), and SPR. I had two great groups that weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (and for some, their faces ). This workshop was all about expanding techniques and building confidence in the field.

Working in law enforcement comes with a level of stress that most people don’t see or understand. That’s why having a healthy outlet is necessary. For me, that outlet is creativity.

I love this little business I have created. Design and product creation give me a way to reset and build something positive outside of the job. A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to design the eagle artwork for the 2026 International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association conference sticker.

This collaboration meant a lot! Being able to flex my creative muscles while supporting an organization that plays such an important role in our profession is something I’m truly proud of.

Big moves happening behind the scenes. 👀

As I start transitioning more of my training from the technical college setting into my business, one thing has become very clear, brand matters. Not just for recognition, but for building something consistent, professional, and truly mine.

That’s what makes this moment so exciting… officially unveiling my custom fingerprint lift cards.

This isn’t just a new tool - it’s an investment. While the long-term goal is growth (and yes, increased revenue), the reality is the upfront costs, materials, and risk are significantly higher when you bet on yourself. Every detail, every supply, every decision now carries my name.

But with that comes ownership, flexibility, and the ability to create exactly the kind of training experience I believe in.

Here’s to taking big chances in 2026—and building something that lasts. 💜👩🏻‍🏫👮🏻‍♀️ First up for training - .wai66 conference!
