Announcing my next 2 pop-ups!🎉🥳

In exactly 2 weeks, I'll be attending both evenings--October 29th & 30th--of the BOOzaar! I'll be debuting a ton of upcycled and handmended clothing, most autumn and Halloween-themed. I'll also be bringing my Obsession fan shirts, embroidered art, patches galore, stickers, and prints both new and old.

October 25th also marks 5 YEARS since I began vending and launching Luminoom. So grateful for the love and support over the years, and I'm cooking something up to celebrate the milestone at the Boozaar (a sneak peek is on my pop-up announcement 😉). I'll also be introducing a revamp of some past designs that needed some TLC.

On November 7th, I'll be attending the Bow Market Renaissance Faire! I'll be bringing my usual wares, but I'll be debuting lots of embroidered, medieval-themed goodies that I've been working on. I'm so excited to show these pieces off-- this is one of the coolest projects I've worked on, and I really hope y'all love them as much as I do

🎃🍂🍁SHOP UPDATE!!🍁🍂🎃

Seasonal autumn and spooky merch has been dropped off at Ritual Arts. Lots of patches featuring medieval critters, vintage-inspired Halloween art, and fan merch of the movie Obsession. Halloween garlands are also available for purchase, along with restocks of Lady of the Lake and my seraphim risograph prints. If you haven't already, check out the new location for Ritual Arts--the new space is lovely and right next to the Harvard Ave green line stop!

All of this and more will also be coming with me to my next pop-up at the The Brighton Bazaar: Curated Pop-Up Market Events 🎪 Boozar (more on that soon).

Fall is officially here, and I personally think it's time to show off some new Halloween prints! 🎃👻

I love vintage Halloween art, especially greeting cards from the early 1900s, and was inspired to make this cute print (swipe to the end to see the inspo collage).I'm printing this in a range of colors, but started off with this assortment of lovely orange papers from Paper Source. Next up will be a bold purple on an iridescent white paper, and orange ink on yellow paper--I can't wait to see these combos 😍

Standard letter size, printed in both horizontal and vertical orientations (this image features the vertical layout). I may add some little border designs to pad this out :)

This light orange lokta features gold brushwork--adds a pop of shimmer in the sunlight~

I also printed some on this beautiful, vibrant "volcano" Thai momi paper. The design isn't as opaque, but the gold marbling really comes through in these copies.

Some embroidery projects I've worked on recently-- back to my roots with some nostalgic, whimsigothic art ✨️⭐️

The finalized pieces will be in cute, ornate frames. While I do love the traditional embroidery hoop frame, I really want these pieces to feel like they could fit right in Aggie Cromwell's home in Halloweentown 💖

Each piece is made using upcycled materials like secondhand silk, buttons, vintage sequins and rhinestones. All designs are free-drawn and embroidered by my hand~

Picnics and fireworks, evening embroidery sessions, art courses galore, the Scottish invasion, and some very unwelcome medical issues—it’s safe to say this has been a very interesting summer for me 😅

Now that autumn is on the horizon and my health is in better shape, I’m happy to say that I’ll be hawking my wares once again this fall season, with my first pop-up appearance at the Brighton Bazaar’s 5th anniversary celebration on September 20th. I’ll only be there on Sunday because I’ll be checking out Gaymer Fest on Saturday!

Not only is this year the Bazaar’s 5th anniversary, but it’s Luminoom’s anniversary as well 🥳🎉🎊 Can’t believe it’s been 5 years since Luminoom launched on Halloween 2021—my alias can enroll in kindergarten now! They really do grow up so fast 😭

I’m hoping to do something fun, eventful, and hopefully charitable to celebrate—possible raffle for a 1-of-1 original art piece?? Still brainstorming ideas, but keep an ear and eye out for updates! Until then, come celebrate the Bazaar’s anniversary with me on Sunday, September 20th! More info to follow~

Risograph printing is here in Boston! 🎉🥳

I recently took a risograph print workshop at shepherdmaudsleighstudio, hosted by &RISO, taught/managed by Rohan McDonald. This open access printer launched a little under a year ago; I'm so pumped that we finally have something like this so close to Allston/Brighton!

We spent the first session learning about risograph printing and how to create designs within the medium. The next class focused on printing and troubleshooting designs we made. Is a 2-layer print in black and fluorescent pink. My design came to me in a flash of inspiration on the ride home from the first session. No, I will not elaborate on it (because I can't lol) 🐠

I'm very excited to create more prints through this program, and highly recommend folks check out the membership and workshops. As a community program, every dollar spent goes right back into expanding and supporting the program and studio. Thanks to Rohan for being a great teacher and for spreading the joy of risograph in Boston! 🌠

During the past 2 weekends, I took a white line woodcut printmaking workshop at , hosted by

The technique originated in Provincetown, MA a little over a century ago with the goal of mimicking Japanese woodcut techniques, but using only 1 woodcut and watercolor paints. So you paint your carving with watercolors, then imprint the design into paper with a barren (like regular block printmaking). Unlike traditional blockprinting though, the line art is the negative space left behind from carving.

I never carved a woodcut before, but have done plenty of watercolor prints, so of course I was eager to try it out! Really happy with my first go--I'm especially in love with how the colors blend together and interact with the wood grain (and how bright the linework is in comparison).

This piece in particular was inspired by a painting from the German Renaissance manuscript, The Book of Miracles (which I also embroidered on a jacket last year). Swipe through the slideshow to see how the print progressed over time!

Now I just need to get this framed and find a lovely spot for it in my apartment--preferably somewhere with a lot of sunlight to capture the little metallic details throughout ☺️

About a month ago, I visited the to paint some pottery with my friend! I was determined to complete my piece within the 2-hour reservation window and didn't plan a draft beforehand--I wanted to test myself haha 😅

There's a print design I've had in my head based around harpies and Audobon Botanical illustrations, but I haven't had time to draw it out. So of course I decided to use this opportunity to play around with the idea. The photos show the results--I love how it turned out! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out as a blockprint!

I've been spending time reflecting on all the art I created this year, (I'll have to do a full recap post); it's cool seeing all the different mediums I worked in during 2025 as we approach 2026 :)

I visited the wonderful team at today to drop off a bunch of prints (just in time for some last minute holiday shopping). Now when you visit Ritual Arts, you can find my handpainted originals, popular designs such as Dragonslayer and Chimera, & lots of little medieval guys--tons of options to pick from! Ritual Arts was the first store to host and celebrate my art, so I was very happy to visit and catch up with the team today!! 😊

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for making the 4th year of running Luminoom a success! I finished my last market of the year with the Brighton Bazaar at Krampusfest, and the turnout was amazing. With my hiatus this past year due to health issues, I was a bit worried that folks would forget me or think I left the art scene... ;___;

Instead, y'all came out in full force to support me! I am especially aware that this year has been so tough due to the economy and our current administration in the USA (I grimace every time I look at my receipt after shopping for groceries and read the news 😵‍💫). So the fact that y'all still wanted to find space for my art and spend your hard-earned money at my booth really means the world to me! I'm feeling a lot of gratitude as I settle in for the winter holidays, and have SO many ideas for next year!

So thank you to everyone who has taken the time to stop by to shop, chat, and gush about printmaking and mythology with me. I'm so happy and grateful that my art is so loved and appreciated 💕
