Welcome Megan!
Hi all! I wanted to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Chamber.
I am a lifelong area resident who grew up in Steuben and graduated from Wauzeka-Steuben School in 2012. My husband, Aron, and I got married in 2021 and he is a salesman/crop consultant for Nutrien Ag Solutions in Stitzer. We are raising our three boys on a few acres just outside of Boscobel, along with our dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks. Our oldest will be starting 4K this fall, making this an especially exciting time for our family!
You may recognize me from my time as a teller, loan processor, or marketing liaison at Community First Bank in Boscobel, or from my time as a teacher at In the Beginning Childcare before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I’ve also enjoyed giving back to our community, including volunteering with Vacation Bible School at Backroads Church this year. In my free time, I enjoy reading, taking walks, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
I know I have very big shoes to fill as I step into the role of Executive Director of the Boscobel Area Chamber, but I’m ready and excited for the challenge. I look forward to working alongside the Board of Directors to build strong relationships, promote our local businesses and tourism, encourage community engagement, and continue helping Boscobel grow and thrive.
If you see me out and about, I’m probably chasing one—or all—of our boys, but please stop me and say “hi!”
-Megan
