Steam Identity Verification Approved.

We’ve officially been cleared to move forward.

The Steam store page for Civic Frontier™ will be live within the next few days so you can finally add it to your wishlist!

Over the last several weeks, we haven’t been “quiet.”

We’ve been deep inside the systems.

The traffic logic.
The signal timing.
Accident response.
Construction rerouting.
Housing demand reacting to congestion.
Noise pollution affecting property value.
Infrastructure load stress adjusting dynamically.

We refused to push Version 1.0 out the door unless it functioned like a real city.

Civic Frontier™ is not just about placing roads.

It’s about governing consequences.

Behind the builder is a full backend city management system:

• Live traffic AI
• Budget allocation
• Infrastructure monitoring
• Zoning pressure analysis
• Environmental tracking
• Policy impact simulation

This is why it’s taken a little extra time.

And we’re proud of that.

We’re building this the right way — once.

Full Version 1.0 releases on steam in a few short weeks.

From there, we listen.

We adjust.

We expand.

We do not believe in locking core features behind endless micro-DLC.

We are privately owned.

We answer to our players — not shareholders.

Version 2 will come as a major update.
Future DLC will add meaningful expansions — not sliced-up basics.

If you’ve supported us — thank you.

If you’ve been waiting — it’s almost time.

When the Steam page goes live:

Wishlist it.
Share it.
Comment.
Help us build this the right way.

We’re here because of you.
And we’re building it with you.

An Update will be shared as soon as we are done building the Steam page and it awaits verification to be published.

Just a quick Transparency Statement and update – ThunderDex Studios

We’ve seen a few questions circulating regarding legitimacy, so we want to address them directly.

ThunderDex Studios is a privately funded independent game studio. We have not asked for or accepted any public funds. There are no paid beta slots, no crowdfunding campaigns, and no monetization prior to official release.

Our Steam developer account has been verified, and our store page will be live shortly. You are welcome to check out our IONOS Partnership Network Page, Salesforce Partnership, and newly formed Wix Developer Partnership.

Our LLC filing is pending with the State of Idaho, and our federal EIN is active. As a new independent studio, many formal registrations and platform approvals occur in stages — this is standard process.

We understand that beta testing scams exist in the industry. That is not what this is. We consider our beta testers strategic partners as well, and deeply value their input and dedication.

We are building something ambitious, and as a new studio, scrutiny comes with the territory. We welcome questions and transparency but we do not welcome misinformation or claims presented as facts without evidence.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us and expressed interest in the project. A deeper look at our backend systems and city builder architecture will be posted later tonight.

So stay tuned, and thank you again!

Civic Frontier™ – Development Update

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been following along as we continue building something ambitious.

Right now, Civic Frontier™ is being developed and optimized for PC. That allows us to push the backend systems further, faster — without compromising depth, scale, or performance. Console discussions will come later. For now, our focus is precision and stability.

To our incredible beta volunteers — thank you for your patience. We’ve been deep in system builds and optimization at the studio, and response times have been slower than usual because we’re coding at full throttle. I will be personally reaching out this morning with specific next steps. Please keep an eye on your email.

Now, let’s talk about what actually makes Civic Frontier™ different.

This isn’t just a city-builder.

Under the surface, Civic Frontier™ runs on layered simulation systems designed to interact with each other:

• AI-driven traffic logic with signal timing, right-of-way systems, and congestion modeling
• Infrastructure load balancing that reacts dynamically to growth and strain
• Governance mechanics that simulate policy ripple effects over time
• Environmental impact calculations tied directly to planning decisions
• Economic feedback loops influenced by infrastructure efficiency

Every road placement, zoning change, or transit decision feeds into a live system — not a scripted animation.

Traffic affects housing demand. Policy affects congestion. Infrastructure strain affects long-term city stability.

We are not building a cosmetic sandbox.
We are building a systems engine.

And we’re doing it carefully.

Thank you for the continued support, patience, and belief in what we’re building. The next 30 days are going to be important.

More updates very soon.

🚨 Quick Beta Testing Update

If you’ve already sent in your information to volunteer for Civic Frontier™ beta testing — thank you.

I will personally be reviewing submissions and reaching out by tomorrow afternoon.

Yes — the founder himself will be emailing you. 🙂

We’re being intentional about selecting testers who genuinely want to stress-test systems — traffic logic, governance mechanics, infrastructure behavior — and provide thoughtful feedback.

If you haven’t applied yet and want to be considered, you can still message us with:

• Your email
• Platform preference
• Basic hardware specs
• A short note on why you want to help test

We’re building something ambitious, and we’re doing it carefully.

Appreciate the patience.
Appreciate the support.
More soon.

🚨 30 Days. The Runway Begins Now.

Civic Frontier™ officially enters a structured 30-day launch runway today.

Here’s exactly what that means:

🗓 Early Access launches first on itch.io the weekend of the 21st.
🛠 Full Version 1.0 launches on Steam 30 days from today.
⏳ The Steam “Coming Soon” page is currently pending verification and will go live as soon as approval clears.

This is deliberate.

We are not rushing a surface-level sandbox.

We are building a living system.

What Makes Civic Frontier™ Different?

This isn’t just zoning and skylines.

It’s governance.

It’s infrastructure.

It’s consequence.

🚦 Traffic logic that affects housing desirability and commute efficiency.
🏛 Council votes that shift public approval and policy direction.
🏗 Infrastructure maintenance and strain that compound over time.
🌆 Noise and pollution influencing neighborhood value.
📊 A City Manager dashboard that reveals what’s really happening beneath the surface.

Every system talks to another.

That’s the point.

The Next 30 Days

Early Access on itch.io gives us:
• Active beta testing
• Real-world stress testing
• Structured feedback integration
• Systems refinement before 1.0

Steam 1.0 launches in 30 days — polished, stabilized, and ready.

This is the right way to do it.

Ambitious systems deserve disciplined ex*****on.

A Quick Note

If responses are occasionally slower than usual, it’s because we’re deep in code right now.

Launch preparation is intense.

We appreciate the patience — and yes, additional help is coming to support development as we scale.

🏙️ This isn’t just city-building.

This is city governance.

Most city builders stop at roads and skylines.
We didn’t.

Civic Frontier is being built as a living municipal system — where every decision compounds, every system talks to another, and the city reacts the way real cities do.

What you’re seeing here isn’t “menus.”
It’s the operating layer of a city.

🔹 Council & Commission Simulators
Draft ordinances. Navigate votes. Balance factions. Deal with public opinion, political pressure, and consequences that don’t reset when you hit pause.

🔹 Real Traffic AI (not fake pathing)
Accidents, construction detours, congestion, emergency routing — traffic behaves like traffic, not ants on rails.

🔹 Infrastructure & Public Works
Aging systems fail. Maintenance costs matter. Deferred repairs come back to haunt budgets and voters alike.

🔹 Zoning, Setbacks & Land Use
Historic districts. Suburban sprawl. Urban cores. Height limits. Overlays. Neighborhood pushback. This is planning — not paint-by-numbers.

🔹 Budgets, Taxes & Economic Pressure
Raise rates, cut services, invest long-term, or chase short-term wins. Every lever has a tradeoff.

🔹 Public Sentiment & Political Fallout
Approval ratings move. Media reacts. Elections loom. Sometimes the right decision still costs you your job.

And yes —
🧱 You can still play sandbox mode if you want pure creativity.
But if you want the real game…
this is where cities are actually won or lost.

🚧 Early Access launches mid-February on itch.io
🚀 Full release planned for late March on itch.io & Steam

🧠 WE BUILT A CITY THAT ARGUES BACK

Most games are happy when you win.

Civic Frontier isn’t.

It pushes back.
It questions your decisions.
And sometimes… it makes you clean up your own mess.

Because real cities don’t care about your intentions—only your systems.

🏙️ THIS IS A CITY SIM FOR PEOPLE WHO ASK “WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?”

In Civic Frontier, every decision compounds:

• Approve a zoning change → watch housing prices shift
• Ignore infrastructure upgrades → enjoy the consequences
• Cut a department budget → explain it to council later
• Rush growth → deal with long-term strain

There’s no “undo” button for bad governance.

(Okay fine, there is in sandbox—but where’s the fun in that?)

🧩 SYSTEMS TALK TO SYSTEMS

We didn’t build features.
We built relationships.

• Traffic affects economic flow
• Policy affects development patterns
• Public services influence population behavior
• Political pressure reshapes priorities

You’re not solving puzzles—you’re managing tension.

🏛️ YOU DON’T RULE THE CITY. YOU NEGOTIATE WITH IT.

You’ll work with:

• Councils that disagree
• Officials with their own incentives
• Neighborhoods with strong opinions
• Voters who remember what you promised

Sometimes the “right” decision is the one that survives the vote.

🚦 YES, THE TRAFFIC AI IS ACTUALLY REAL

Accidents.
Detours.
Construction chaos.

The kind of stuff that makes you stare at the map and say:
“Wow… I did this to myself.”

🎮 EARLY ACCESS IS COMING FAST

• Mid-February — Early Access on itch.io (Steam EA shortly after)
• End of March 2026 — Full release on Steam & itch.io

This isn’t a teaser anymore.
This is a countdown.

We’ll keep sharing what we’re building—
the systems, the UI, the dashboards, the chaos.

If you’ve ever wanted a city builder that respects your intelligence and still surprises you…

You’re going to feel very at home here.

👀 Patreon supporters are already seeing what’s under the hood.
🏗️ Early Access drops soon.

Welcome to Civic Frontier.

🚨 THIS ISN’T JUST A CITY BUILDER 🚨

This is Civic Frontier.

Most city-building games let you draw roads, zone land, and watch numbers go up.

Civic Frontier asks you to govern.

We’re officially targeting Early Access in mid-February on itch.io (with Steam Early Access following), and a full release by the end of March 2026 on Steam and itch.io.

And here’s the thing—
this game was never about pretty skylines alone.

🏛️ GOVERN THE CITY, NOT JUST BUILD IT

In Civic Frontier, you don’t just place buildings—you manage the systems behind them.

• City manager gameplay with real governance mechanics
• Council & commission simulators that influence policy, budgets, and development
• Political pressure, public opinion, and yes… scandals
• Elected officials with agendas (that may or may not align with yours)

Design the city you want—
or the city your officials will allow.

🚦 TRAFFIC THAT ACTUALLY BEHAVES LIKE TRAFFIC

We built a real traffic AI, not smoke and mirrors.

• Accidents that cause real congestion
• Construction detours that ripple through neighborhoods
• Infrastructure decisions that matter long-term
• Road hierarchy, right-of-way logic, and network consequences

No more magical cars teleporting through intersections.

🏗️ REAL-WORLD SYSTEMS. REAL CONSEQUENCES.

Civic Frontier models things most games ignore:

• Setback requirements & zoning realities
• Modern infrastructure constraints
• Neighborhood-level design and identity
• Long-term economic, environmental, and social effects

You’ll feel the difference immediately.

🧪 YES, THERE’S A SANDBOX MODE

If you want total freedom, it’s there.

But the real fun?
Letting the systems push back.

This project was built from the ground up by a systems-driven studio, not a content factory.

We’re not chasing trends.
We’re building the city simulator we always wished existed.

Early Access is coming.
And once you step behind the curtain, it’s hard to go back.

👀 Sneak peeks, system breakdowns, and deep dives are already live on Patreon.
🎮 Early Access launches mid-February on itch.io.

What if city builders stopped pretending choices don’t hurt?

At ThunderDex Studios, we’re building Civic Frontier—a next-generation urban simulation where every system talks to every other system.

Traffic affects housing.
Zoning affects public trust.
Budgets don’t magically balance themselves.

Right now, we’re actively designing:

A cinematic Unreal Engine city view that feels grounded and modern

A minimal, chrome-clean UI that stays out of your way until you need it

Deep backend city systems that track consequences over time—not just numbers

This isn’t about flashy overlays or arcade gameplay.
It’s about governance, tradeoffs, and long-term thinking.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing:

Conceptual gameplay visuals

UI and dashboard experiments

Behind-the-scenes looks at how the systems actually work

If you’ve ever wanted a city builder that treats you like an adult—follow along.

Created in the Treasure Valley — not Silicon Valley.

ThunderDex Studios is building a new generation of systems-driven games and digital simulations—where structure, clarity, and long-term thinking shape every outcome.

Our flagship title, Civic Frontier, is currently in development and represents a fundamental shift in the city-building genre.

This isn’t a sandbox where everything magically works.
This is a living system.

In Civic Frontier, every decision matters:

Zoning affects traffic, housing, and economic flow

Infrastructure choices ripple through entire districts

Policy decisions create long-term consequences, not instant rewards

Cities grow organically—sometimes imperfectly—just like the real world

We’re building this in Unreal Engine, with a focus on:

Deep simulation systems

Realistic governance and planning mechanics

Scalable infrastructure logic

Player agency without hand-holding.

This is just the beginning.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing:

Sneak peeks at upcoming games and simulations

Early concepts for software and mobile tools

Design breakdowns and systems-thinking insights

Patreon-exclusive deep dives for supporters who want to help shape what comes next

If you believe games can be smarter, deeper, and built to last—
you’re in the right place.

What we’re focused on right now at ThunderDex Studios

As we continue building Civic Frontier, our attention is firmly on the systems that most city simulations gloss over.

Governance.
Infrastructure tradeoffs.
Long-term consequences.

Instead of stacking features, we’re prototyping how decisions interact over time — how policy affects growth, how infrastructure shapes outcomes, and how early choices ripple forward.

Alongside game development, we’re also refining the internal systems that let us work deliberately:
• structured design documentation
• repeatable workflows
• clear boundaries between experimentation and production

This foundation matters. It’s what allows us to move fast without breaking things later.

We’ll be sharing progress, insights, and visuals as systems take shape.

More soon.
