Happy ! 3 years ago I toured Universal Studios and took these pictures of the set that stood in as the town of Hill Valley, CA in the movie. I attempted to take my picture at the clock tower that serves as a central piece to the movie’s thrilling edge of your seat climax. Seeing Hill Valley in person was quite a treat for me.

This year is the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, so it couldn’t be more fitting. To all my partners in time, happy ! Where we’re going we don’t need roads!

This is a service that we currently offer as part of this business. Scanning film. The only 2 formats that we can scan are 8mm and Super 8mm. Often times customers come to us worried about the hot attics and the films melting and such. One time we received a film from a customer that was worried about this, a film in a can in a hot attic that wasn't touched for years. She was worried about the image quality. However, when I loaded it into the film scanner (at least one affordable at startup prices) the picture was just so clear. It was like stepping into a time machine going back to mid-century America. The cars were shiny, there were freshly built suburbs, there were clear faces on the people in the images, and it was a portrait of an America that no longer exists. This customer had no need for worry. If you have any 8mm or Super 8mm films in your collection or attic, feel free to send them and we'll scan them for only $10 per film and return all the original materials to you.

Dear dpw Creative customers,

We’ve had a whole lot of life and excitement happen very recently in the past month, hence a few recycled posts. The latest edition to this fun is a trip to Boston, MA, home to some of the oldest standing institutions and buildings in America. Below is a picture of both the USS Constitution, America’s first naval ship, nicknamed “Old Ironsides”, and the second tallest monolith in America, marking the site of the first true battle of the American Revolutionary War. At this site, known as Bunker Hill, the phrase “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes” was famously uttered.
