Twin Ravens Press is a design and letterpress studio located in Eugene, Oregon specializing in greeting cards, wedding invitations, birth announcements, business stationery, hand-bound books and limited edition art prints. Founded in 2007 by graphic designer and printmaker Kristin Walker, Twin Ravens Press strives to create beautiful and memorable letterpress invitations for a variety of events (i

ncluding weddings, bar & bat mitzvahs, showers, parties, and other special events), as well as adorable baby announcements, compelling and unique business and personal stationery, fabulous greeting cards, calendars and more! We also produce a small line of greeting cards, coasters, gift tags and calendars which are sold in a number of fine stationery boutiques throughout the country. Every piece produced by Twin Ravens Press is printed in-house on a 1912 Chandler & Price letterpress using a combination of hand-set type and photopolymer plates. Each sheet of paper is placed individually into the press, by hand, where the images and text are transferred by relief method, one color at a time, to create an impression you can see and feel. Our custom work ranges from small runs of calling cards to large wedding invitation suites and corporate marketing products, and our custom clients have come from every corner of the country and from across the globe. We are happy to print your already designed project, or work with you to design and develop a unique project of your very own.

Happy Anniversary last week to Jocelyn & Chris! I adore the blend of dynamic scripts and modern sans-serif fonts on their invites, plus that gorgeous color scheme featuring gold, light grey, white, and racing green. Truly unforgettable.

Blake Robertshaw, a local photographer who is no longer on Instagram, took this beautiful photo of his new business cards that we printed earlier this month. I loved turning his brother’s octopus drawing into the “coin-style” logo you see pictured on the front of the card.

One of my favorite custom wedding suites from last year was this formal invitation for Lauren & Griffin who were married in Louisiana in December. Lauren’s invitations were square, letterpress printed in a lovely mid-green, and featured hand-painted beveled edges. The inserts, custom patterned envelope liner, and belly band were all printed in variations of white and the same matching green - it was perfect for a formal winter wedding without looking even the slightest bit “Christmas-y”.

I’ve been seeing beautiful flat lays pop up here there and everywhere from work we printed in 2024, and it’s making me excited for what’s in store for the coming year.

We letterpress printed this modern suite for for a couple getting married in Bend last summer. Love the neutral, modern color palette and the fonts they chose.

Just in time for the holidays, you can now shop for Twin Raven’s Press cards, in person, at The Corvallis Museum! Executive Director, Jessica Hougen, was kind enough to give me a tour of the museum when I was in Corvallis and they have an absolutely beautiful space with an ever rotating collection of Corvallis and Oregon historic photographs and ephemera. If you’re in Corvallis for Thanksgiving a museum visit would be a lovely family activity and you can get a jump on your holiday shopping at The Museum Store!
