A wrap on August for Olive Branch. 🫒🕊️🌿☕️🫶🏻
Some months feel like growth while you’re living them. Others don’t fully hit you until you finally look back and realize just how much God has done.

August was one of those continuous “God is so good + kind” months for us.

John and I have been pretty busy. The kind of busy that looks exciting from the outside, and absolutely is, but behind the scenes has meant extremely late nights, pumping bottles between content sessions, running from one place to the next, taking 217 shots just to get the one, reworking ideas, changing direction, dreaming bigger, pruning this garden, and continuing to till the soil even when we can’t quite see what’s growing yet.

This photo shows a smidge of the equipment we carry around, but it could never show the amount of prayer, work, sacrifice, learning and trust that has been poured into Olive Branch.

In the past couple of months, we hired our first employee. We branched out into new territory. We were given incredible opportunities we could have never opened the doors to ourselves.

And that part matters most.

Because this isn’t a story about how hard we’ve worked our way here. It’s a story about what Jesus can do with a seed you’re willing to place in His hands.

Olive Branch was once just that. A tiny seed. An idea we prayed over before we knew what it would become. We’ve watered it, worked the ground, tended it, replanted a few things along the way, and watched God bring organic growth in places we never could have forced ourselves.

We are incredibly grateful for every client who has invited us into their business and trusted us to tell a piece of their story. We’ll never get tired of saying that, because none of this happens without people taking a chance on the little seed Olive Branch once was.

We may be growing and ready to keep our sleeves rolled up for what’s next, but we never want to outgrow the posture we started with, and that’s that this is all for His glory, and Him alone. 🫶🏻

Anytime we’re capturing content at Main Street Animal Hospital, I’m always blown away by their staff’s expertise, compassion, and professional care they provide. This line of work is not for the faint of heart, and we feel so very honored getting to capture a glimpse of their story! 🌿📸🫶🏻

Not every animal hospital is equipped to offer orthopedic surgery in-house, and that’s something we’re proud to provide right here at Main Street Animal Hospital. 🩺🐾

A torn ligament, fracture, or orthopedic injury can quickly become a stressful situation for any pet owner. Having this level of surgical care available locally means certain injuries and conditions can be treated right here in our clinic, without automatically having to travel to a specialty hospital.

Orthopedic procedures require specialized equipment, experience, and a team focused on every detail from start to finish. All jokes aside, social media is one of those things that can feel simple from the outside until you’re the business owner trying to run the business, serve the customers, remember to take the photo, edit the videos, write the caption, post consistently, keep up with trends, and somehow make all of it actually connect back to your brand.

And when you’re trying to do it all, something usually starts to give.

You start posting just to say you posted. Leaning too heavily on AI-generated graphics. Throwing together content that fills the feed but doesn’t truly reflect the quality of your work, the personality behind your business, or everything you actually have to offer.

Clocked in: creating, filming, late night editing, storytelling, strategizing, and helping businesses get rooted + branch out.

Clocked out: my life rooted in the soil that reminds me why any of it matters. Jesus, family, everything else.

Olive Branch isn’t watered by strategy, cameras, content calendars, or creativity. We do those things well because of how we’re rooted when the cameras are off.

It’s watered by Christ, and my faith that anchors me.
My marriage. My family tribe.
The outdoors that gives me room to breathe.
The quiet moments where God recenters my heart.
The work nobody sees, but somehow shapes everything we bring into this business.

This space has never just been “marketing” to us. It’s not just content to me, or chasing “likes/comments” for clients.
It’s someone’s dream.
Someone’s risk. Someone’s family.
Someone’s livelihood.
It’s the years of work behind the doors, the heart behind the brand, and the side of their story most people don’t see.
So when we show up, we show up like it matters, because to them, it does. And to us, that’s enough reason to roll our sleeves up and be all in for them.
And that part of me doesn’t clock out.

I’m endlessly grateful for this life, this business that has blessed our family in ways that were once just seeds of prayer, and the clients who trust us enough to let us be a small part of what they’re building. I still pinch myself for how kind God has been to us. And, we are only getting started! 🫶🏻🌿✨

Our camera gear + energy is officially tapped out after a full day on the greens capturing the annual golf tournament. ⛳️🌿

The course was filled with businesses, leaders, teams, and people who showed up for more than just a good time. They showed up to invest in this sweet community that we all get to be part of.

One of our favorite things to capture today was watching so many different businesses take their “business hats” off for a day, collaborate outside of the usual work setting, and simply enjoy being shoulder to shoulder with the people who help keep this town moving. No job titles, no work agenda, just simply letting loose to catch a little breather from the hustle.

A time was absolutely had, and we had the best time + joy of capturing it. 📸✨

Cheering on this community will always be one of our favorite parts of what we do through Olive Branch, and days like today was exactly that. 🫶🏻👏🏻🌿✨
