Paul checked in with one of his local businesses and spent a little time organizing!

You know that tangled mess that happens behind your computer or television? In case of emergency, power failure or power surge, you want a good system in place to protect your system and data.

As much as we appreciate your business and being needed, if there’s an emergency we want YOU to be able to manage the issue on your own remotely instead of needing us to come to you.

Paul used his handy label maker to organize all the cables. He also setup a battery backup to safely shutoff the server automatically in case of power issues. That way there’s no data loss.

Recently, a client wanted to fly Paul down to his new home in Florida to do some upgrades…and he brought him down in style!

With a little upkeep, a computer can last you a really long time!

Paul fixed up this laptop back in 2010 after a power surge made it unusable, the computer was fairy new at the time.

He rebuilt it good as new and sold it to a client who needed a computer.

Fast forward to 2022, same client brought the laptop in because the keyboard had stopped worked. Paul fixed the keyboard and sent the client on their way!

12 years old and still working great!

Fixing an existing computer not only saves you money, it’s basically recycling! Keep as much out of our landfills as possible!

Add this one to the list of firsts.

This computer was actually on fire when Paul walked in to assess. Owner complained of system not working, when Paul took a look it was smoking and the cable was melting!

Fires can happen from systems overheating, dust accumulation and more. Make sure to get your computer serviced once a year to prevent this from happening.

Ever wonder what the inside of your laptop looks like? This is one of the main components that keeps your laptop running. The motherboard.

The motherboard serves as a single platform to connect all of the parts of a computer together. It connects the CPU, memory, hard drives, optical drives, video card, sound card, and other ports and expansion cards directly or via cables. It can be considered as the backbone of a computer. Without a working motherboard, your computer will not function.

Replaced the motherboard on a dead laptop this week. Easy enough fix and now this client has a functioning laptop for way less than the cost of a new one!

So many issues can be fixed if we catch them early enough, saving you lots of money and frustration in the process!

Once a computer is past the point of fixing you will likely lose your data and any photos/documents you have saved on there.

Client invited us into their home to figure out a solution to their Ethernet wire fiasco! This Ethernet was installed by the previous owner and needed to be streamlined.

Organization: Labeled all lines and tied into a new network switch.

Efficiency: Setup home network.

Future plans: Setup home speaker system.

When we get a computer or laptop in with an issue, the first thing we do is open it up and see what's going on inside.

If you have a pet at home... We can tell.

Your little buddy's fur ends up inside t your PC or laptop and can cause problems.

This fur could cause your computer to overheat and auto shutoff, or worse it could cause a fire.

Now we're not saying to get rid of your dog, or not let him on your workspace. But you should get your computer cleaned out at least once a year.

We'll go in, clean it up good as new and you can rest easy knowing your device and your home are a little safer.
