I’m grateful to share Sentry Interactive’s official announcement welcoming me as Director, North America Business Development.

This is a meaningful step in my career, and I do not take the opportunity lightly. My focus will be on helping organizations, integrators, dealers, resellers, consultants, and technology partners across North America better understand practical paths to modern physical access control.

Sentry Interactive is bringing a software-first approach to mobile access, readerless NFC, PKOC, PACS integrations, and secure credential modernization. My role is to educate, listen, build relationships, and help the market see what is possible without unnecessary disruption.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me along the way. I’m excited for the work ahead and grateful for the trust placed in me.

Mobile access is not just about replacing a card with a phone.

It is about helping organizations modernize access in a practical way.

Most facilities already have readers, controllers, credentials, users, doors, policies, and budgets in place. So the right conversation is not always about replacing everything.

The better conversation is:

What can we improve?

Can we improve security?
Can we improve convenience?
Can we support mobile credentials?
Can we protect existing investment?
Can we avoid unnecessary disruption?

That is where mobile credential software for PACS can create real value.

Better access should make life simpler, not more complicated.

Modernization does not have to mean unnecessary rip and replace.

Many organizations already have access-control infrastructure in place. They have readers, controllers, credentials, doors, users, policies, and budgets that matter.

So the right conversation is not always about replacing everything.

The better conversation is about improving what exists.

How can we strengthen security?
How can we improve convenience?
How can we support mobile credentials?
How can we protect prior investment?
How can we move forward at the right pace?

At Sentry Interactive, the focus is mobile credential software for PACS.

The goal is practical modernization that helps organizations improve access without unnecessary disruption.

Open standards matter in mobile access.

But it is important to be clear about what each one does.

OSDP helps secure reader-to-controller communications.

PKOC points toward open asymmetric credential models.

Aliro is part of the emerging mobile access conversation around more interoperable digital access experiences.

They are different, but they all point toward a more open and flexible future.

That matters for end users, dealers, installers, integrators, software providers, hardware partners, and consultants.

At Sentry Interactive, the focus is mobile credential software for PACS. The goal is to help organizations enhance what they already have and move toward mobile access without unnecessary disruption.

That is practical modernization.

Mobile access is not just about replacing a card with a phone.

It is about helping organizations modernize access in a practical way.

Most facilities already have readers, controllers, credentials, users, doors, workflows, and budgets in place. So the right conversation is not always about replacing everything.

The better conversation is about improving security, convenience, and user experience while working with the PACS environment already in place.

That is where mobile access software can create real value.

Better access should not create unnecessary disruption.

It should help organizations move forward with confidence.

Mobile credentials are not just digital badges.

That thinking is too small.

In enterprise access, small thinking creates expensive gaps.

The myth is that moving a badge to a phone automatically modernizes security.

It does not.

The brutal truth:

If the credential is trapped in a closed ecosystem, enrolled one user at a time, disconnected from identity, and painful to scale, you did not solve the access problem.

You just changed the form factor.

This Sentry Interactive video caught my attention because it points to where physical access is headed: open-standard PKOC credentials, asymmetric cryptography, and mass enrollment that can support enterprise operations.

Security leaders should not have to choose between stronger credentials, scale, and infrastructure reality.

Logical security has been moving toward identity-first thinking for years.

Physical access has to catch up.

Doors, readers, panels, mobile devices, visitors, contractors, tenants, employees, lifecycle management, and auditability all need to work together.

The future is not “phone replaces badge.”

The future is trusted identity moving securely across physical and digital environments.

The winners will reduce friction without reducing trust.

For those who have lived in IAM, PACS, smart cards, mobile credentials, or enterprise security: where is the biggest gap today — technology, standards, operations, or old-school thinking?
