Today we had the pleasure of hosting a DIY P2P Roundtable at the Fundraise Up offices in Brooklyn, NY, co-hosted by Nuclavis and Streetlight Digital.
A huge thank you to Ellen Krouss and the Fundraise Up team for welcoming us and creating such a great space for conversation, and to Kara Poshak from Streetlight Digital for sharing valuable insights on how organizations can strategically invest in DIY fundraising programs to build a stronger long-term donor pipeline and cultivate future major donors.
The discussion was candid, thoughtful, and incredibly productive. We explored some of the biggest challenges facing DIY fundraising today, including how to attract new fundraisers, engage them meaningfully, and help them become lifelong supporters of your mission.
One theme that resonated throughout the conversation was that DIY fundraising is often the front porch of your organization. Bringing in a new fundraiser is just the beginning. Long-term success depends on thoughtful stewardship, meaningful engagement, and creating experiences that inspire supporters to continue their journey with your cause.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed your perspectives, questions, and ideas. The collective expertise in the room made for a truly valuable discussion.
Special thanks to the incredible organizations that participated: BreakthroughT1D, Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation , Save the Children US, Parkinson's UK, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, God's Love We Deliver, Smile Train, and The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
