This is one of the coolest activities you can do in Visit Sandy Springs

Thanks to Wheel the World and their accessibility verified website, we had the opportunity to experience adaptive kayaking in Sandy Springs, an incredible program offered in partnership with Catalyst Sports that gives people with disabilities the opportunity to get out on the Chattahoochee River and enjoy the great outdoors.

From adaptive equipment and trained instructors to an accessible dock with a ramp, transfer seat, and kayak launch, Sandy Springs is creating more opportunities for everyone to experience the river.

If you’re looking for accessible outdoor adventures around Atlanta, be sure to add Sandy Springs to your list!
