Founded by Vincent Anthony today in 1978, the Center for Puppetry Arts opened with a grand ribbon cutting by none other than and . Today, we are the largest non-profit dedicated to the art of puppetry in the US (and Kermit sits on display in a place of great honor in The Jim Henson Collection). Thank you to everyone who has supported us for these past 45 years!
