What does it take to support 80,000+ SKUs without expanding your footprint?

For Sela Logistics, the answer was creating a more scalable, flexible fulfillment operation built for long-term growth.

Supporting global fashion brands like adidas and Nike, rising e-commerce demand, increasing order volumes, and growing SKU complexity were placing increasing pressure on the existing manual warehouse operation.

Working together, Sela Logistics, Adidas, and Dematic implemented the first AutoStore™ system in Israel and one of the largest AutoStore installations in the world, creating a platform designed to improve capacity, efficiency, and future scalability.

The results included 99.5% picking accuracy, faster order processing, improved workforce efficiency, and the ability to handle peak volumes without additional temporary labor.

As Hillel Cohen, Head of Operational Systems at Sela Logistics, shared: "We had a dream, and Dematic decided to go with us and make that dream a reality."

A great example of how operational expertise, intelligent automation, and collaboration can turn supply chain complexity into long-term customer value.

“Stable does not mean rigid.”

For warehouse leaders, stability now means being able to adapt before labor volatility affects throughput, service levels, cost, or customer experience.

Stabilizing Operations Amid Labor Volatility features key perspectives from the experts:

Danielle Dakin, Global Market Development Director, Dematic
Kevin Heath, Director, Robotics & AMR, Dematic
Enrico Gazzano, Managing Director, EMEA, Quicktron Robotics
Sascha Kalytta, Principal, Miebach Consulting

Together, they explore what it takes to move from firefighting to control: flexible automation, connected systems, software orchestration, realistic investment decisions, and operations designed to adapt without losing performance.

A smarter warehouse isn't defined by how many systems it has. It's defined by how well they work together.

As automation expands, coordination itself becomes a performance capability.

Can the operation sense change?
Reprioritize work?
Align people and automation?
Keep ex*****on moving against real conditions?

Those questions are becoming increasingly important as warehouse environments grow more complex.

Scaling robotics starts before the first robot moves on site.

For warehouse operations, moving from a pilot project to full-scale integration takes more than adding technology. It takes solution design, simulation, software connectivity and a clear understanding of how robotics will work within the wider operation.

In this video, Kevin Heath, Director, Robotics & AMR at Dematic, shares how Dematic helps customers turn robotics potential into scalable warehouse performance.
