Don’t ask me why I never thought to make an enclosure card featuring this piece. Well, here it is. Blank inside, it’s small enough to accompany a gift and carry a short note from you.

A sentimental still life. The blooms are from the lilac my dad gifted to me many years ago. I know from experience, the blooms last three days tops, so I had to work fast. My mom always displayed their flowers in this vase. It's a hand painted vase. I don't know if she painted it but I intentionally put them together for this piece, just like in the before times. I chose black paper for my substrate because I knew from experience, it would help speed up the process with colored pencils because it's visually more forgiving.
