Looky, looky! The Common Oracle is seriously so adorable in its new two part box. Please welcome the newest edition to the family, the Chromatic! Bold colors and typography really change the entire vibe of the deck, don’t you think?? 🤩

As always, some slight adjustments to be made to the boxes. 😂 But overall I love them both! It was a joy to open them open and feel their different energies. Can’t wait to play around with the colorful one and see how it reads. It’s going to be so interesting!!

Fine, I’m working on this. 😂 Early stages, early stages, but I can move through that quickly when the mood hits. It’s time I get going and focus on my next project even though I’m dragging my feet just a little bit on the motivation side of things. 😅 I always like to feel completely lit up to start on something creative, but you know, sometimes you have to be slightly forceful with yourself. All in good faith, of course. Time to start purposefully chipping away at this now!

This deck feels like a long lost connection. It’s been so long since the creation. I worked on it for 4 years. Poured so much into research of the RWS symbolism. I’m obsessed with visuals, and this deck incorporates every single thing about the meanings behind it. This isn’t just based on stories and vibes. I purposefully and thoughtfully made every decision to reflect my vision of the RWS. Some of it is super familiar, others are a totally fresh take.

Each card is a pathway. You’ve stepped just beyond the threshold. When your head pops through the foliage, you encounter these larger than life and surreal creatures and objects. It’s what happens when you take a few steps off the beaten path.

If you’ve been waiting, hold tight! It’s happening. I appreciate your patience and excitement for my work. 🙏 If you’ve spent some time with it, I’d love to hear your experiences with the deck.

Remember when I created these Jasmine Becket-Griffith tarot and oracle decks last year?? I loved going through the paintings released into the public domain and crafting these specific worlds for each deck. The tarot has a dark academia, dark fantasy, enchanted shadows kind of vibe. It feels like temptation, deceit, and wonder. The oracle takes on a dark garden theme where the wild world of flora and fauna are ever present.

So, because I was showing the tarot one in my video for Halloween decks, I wanted to make these live for anyone that wanted one. And to my ultimate shock (and horror), I deleted the card files. I never do that. I couldn’t believe it. I searched everywhere, every keyword. I think what happened was when I deleted the folder that had all my original image downloads, my folders with my card files were also in there and I just totally forgot. Sooooo out of character for me, but that was almost a year ago at this point. 🤷🏻‍♀️

For anyone that didn’t catch my stories or my video, these are ready! After all that explanation. 😂 Being able to reimagine someone else’s artwork is super fun, and I absolutely love the way these two worlds turned out. My ultimate curation!

I’m waiting for the spark to ignite. There’s been so much in between these last two months that I haven’t found my groove again. No creative flow whatsoever. Yes, I’ve tinkered on stuff here and there, but nothing deep and rewarding. I’m okay with that, but I’m starting to feel antsy.

Time takes care of that, I know. I need the rest and recharge, I know. But that doesn’t mean my mind stops. Or that life stops. I’m constantly thinking about all the things I could be doing. My battery is low though. 🪫

This lull in the process is always a challenging one. That constant urge. The mental battle. And really, everything is alright. I’m just feeling that in between project slump. Don’t worry about me!

It has been fun finding that spark in my tarot practice again. It had gone on autopilot without time for play and experimentation. Slowly getting back into it, so that’s felt really good. And sharing that in my videos has been a highlight for me! I love discussing decks with you and everything art + design that comes along with that.

I’m just at a crossroads with a list of work I could begin or continue on with, and I’m not quite ready to take that step of commitment yet. So instead I’m hearing sharing my thoughts and feelings. 😅👏

I started this project months ago. While I’m trying to find my creative grove again, I decided to dip my toe in colors! Playing with colors is such a process, and I’m still working through what’s going to make the cut. Lots of back and forth of finding 84 colors that work together yet don’t replicate too much AND that fits the keyword.

This is the colorful version of The Common Oracle. Same keywords. Different design elements. It has a bit of a 70s meets modern vibe, don’t you think? I’m not sure what I’ll name this edition. Something will randomly pop into my head, I’m sure.

Hoping to bring back the classic Common Oracle and this new vibrant one in the coming months!

I was finally able to get up seconds of The Common Oracle! If you’ve been wanting this one, now’s your time. I’ll be reprinting them in the upcoming months. Along with a new colorful edition! 🤩

Also, my book for The Peculiar Pathways Tarot, Wonders & Wanderings, is up for grabs at a bargain. I’ll be working on the 2nd edition of the deck along with the big guidebook (plus the pocket size deck), so I’m needing these 1st edition copies to find homes! The information will still be relevant if you wanted it to go with the upcoming 2nd edition or pocket deck.

Has anyone combined these two into one deck yet? I haven’t, just asking. 😝 I’m hoping I can get back into playing around with decks and readings this month. July was too busy for anything fun.

I have been chilling out and catching up on small stuff, finally. Not entirely ready to get back into the swing of things, but time and life doesn’t stop. So I’m taking the slow days while I can, and soon enough I’ll be jumping into deck work again!

I always have some irons in the fire. I’d love to do this full time, so I continue pushing forward. 🙏

A pocket edition would be pretty cute and handy… 🥲 This is just something I printed at home to test out the sizing. I originally had been hesitant to create a pocket size of The Peculiar Pathways Tarot because I thought the elements would be too small. But I think everything is actually pretty okay!

This size would be so amazing for those with hand pain, limited mobility, and other circumstances where full size decks aren’t manageable to handle. Of course, it would make for a great travel size. What I also love about this size is the potential to layer it within your spreads and readings.

You definitely got me thinking… and working! 😂 What do you think of it? I’m pretty charmed.
