It’s so silly to me that others find a million and one excuses as to why two humans shouldn’t love one another. Love is a beautiful, delicate energy one should embrace if they should find it no matter what the gender, sexual preference or ethnicity. Don’t ever be ashamed to feel the love. After years of battling with depression, I’ve finally been getting my mind right through deep meditation and kundalini yoga. I designed this piece weeks before beginning daily meditation, in hopes it would calm me down. Later while practicing kundalini, I discovered one of the breathing mantras is 8 breaths inhaled and one long exhale to release. Little did I know, that’s the exact amount of inhales I had hand lettered in the same pattern as it’s practiced. The universe works in amazing ways. Medication won’t help what your battling mentally. Just relax, breathe, and connect with your soul. 👁✨

VEGANFO is a infographic book exposing the food industry and informing the public on hidden information we deserve to know. After months of researching I had discovered that animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, greenhouse gas emissions, and health complications. I found all this to be astonishing, especially how well these corporate companies have been keeping this information hidden for so long. I became passionate to take these findings and create a whole infographic book designed tastefully to pleasantly display this uncomfortable information. Rainbow milk is a fictional vegan milk company I created for a sweeter, healthier, more sustainable choice over your standard cows milk. Over the past years, more studies have proven that dairy is a major contributor to several diseases including osteoporosis and even common cancers. On top of that, factory farming is one of the top contributors towards greenhouse gas emissions. My solution is to create a tasty plant-based alternative to keep us healthy and save the enviornment. The following labels were printed on clear vinyl.

Earth Girl is an interesting book trilogy that takes place far in the future of 2050. The overall concept of the book is a girl being trapped in her own comfortable reality and wanting to escape. Each book captures a year of her life, including her accomplishments and struggles. For my rendition of these book covers, I took the main idea and aimed to portray each cover as a story in itself. I added hand crafted foil detail to the cover text in order to enhance the contrast and add reflective detail.

Musicians Through the Eras is a coffee table book for those who appreciate the history of music and design. The concept of this book stems from my love of music and my newfound passion for design. I not only wanted to display legendary musicians from each era, but also create the feeling of each decade through design. I found it beautiful how the trends in design and music shifted every 10 years as new generations began to arise. The majority of these spreads were made through photoshop and patterns were made through illustrator. In the 80’s era, all of the musicians are illustrated with photoshop brushes. Printed at Blurb.

Typestrology is a term I coined meaning the study of type combined with the study of stars. While learning about the rules of type, I was able to find similarities between astrological personalities and these rules. In this book you’ll go through each horoscope and its correlated rule in typography. I believe this could be an easy and helpful learning tool to anyone interested in type and design.

My 10 week publication class required us to completely design a corporate company annual report. I took all the text from Steve Madden's 77 page pdf document, and designed it to match their style including all the graphs and charts. All the photography was sourced from various Steve Madden photoshoots and blog posts found on their website. Printed through blurb.
