IOI as a whole has quit reffing SpeedQB. If you are reading this it probably doesn't apply to you because we generally like the people on this page. But regardless, my rant begins:

We don't need the money or the p**s poor attitudes shown toward us. See how well you do after 9 hours of reffing games. Especially since most of you guys are sweating buckets after 10 minutes of gameplay. I did score keeping for hockey and in 3 years never once did I get complaints about the calls made by refs. No one came up to me saying "Why the f**k was that a 5 minute penalty for fighting?" And yet at SpeedQB i was constantly bi***ed at for s**t I had nothing to do with and knew little about. We don't hate specific teams, in fact we don't give a s**t about any team, we are equally apathetic toward all of you. We reffed because it sounded like fun. The egotism, immaturity, and ungrateful attitudes are evidence of how far the game has fallen from the golden era around 2010.

SpeedQB was a success. Congratulations to LTD for winning 1st and 2nd place in the tournament and a commanding win in being the biggest whiners before the finals.

Hello all,

We may have a mercenary job coming up. Jim from Tac City contacted me looking for extra bodies, preferably those who are not high speed/low drag heroes, to ref the next Speedqb event. It looks like it is some time in March but I wont know until I talk to him tomorrow night. I want to get an idea of how many bodies we can get that want to do it. Payment, per our policies, will likely be in the form of a free breakfast provided by Tac City. So if you are interested in starting a not-at-all-lucrative career in being a food mercenary comment below.

We officially have an artillery asset. The mortar's destructive power was beyond expectations with a two man crew directed by a scout. It was so much fun that even the refs were helping us fire on targets. We will be deciding on a name for it at our next meeting. Any suggestions for the name are encouraged in the comments below.

Another successful invasion of NorCal with our friends at KYS and CQB Russian. Gamepod was an amazing time as always and gracious enough to let us have our first combat test of the mortar. People who ran a particular field in Stockton clearly did not have a life guard in their gene pool so we will be finding a different place to play at next time.
