I get this question all the time. Its the first question anyone should ask.
----How does the resin maintain a consistent temperature throughout the vat?
1. Always set the build plate at home in a full vat of resin before you start printing. This allows the resin to match the build plate's temperature. You build plate is the biggest spoon 😉

2. Resin has interesting properties, including a heat reaction that changes its viscosity by up to 120%, depending on the resin and temperature. You can actually see the resin >>move

Yes, the VATBAND does work on the Saturn 4 Ultra with the pivoting VAT. The recommended power connection for optimal setup is on the left side at the top, allowing the cable to route through the designated opening. This setup ensures proper installation and functionality of the VATBAND with your device.

One of my creative customers suggested using metal epoxy to fill in the hard edges that make it challenging to apply the VATBAND to the surface. The VATBAND is flexible and has a memory. I recommend performing a dry install using masking tape to mark the hard edges. Pre-bend the VATBAND at 90 degrees at these marks so that when you are ready to apply it, the creases made during your dry run will fit tightly into the edges of the VAT.

Notice the Phrozen VAT screw hole; the VATBAND could be installed even tighter than it currently is in the photo. For additional memory support and to keep the VATBAND in place, I recommend using aluminum HVAC tape over the band. This will also protect the adhesive from resin.

When installing your VATBAND, ensure the wires and connection port do not end up on the edge of the VAT as shown in the photo. Pay particular attention to the contact point where the black silicone and wires are located. For the thermostat, you have the option to peel it back and allow the power adapter to regulate the power instead of using temperature control. This approach achieves a higher peak temperature and allows for a faster power reset compared to using a thermostat.

How to re-solder your TVB-161 wire incase you tugged on it to hard and have noticed the connection is loose. You only need a 8 dollar soldering tool comes with solder too. Choose the medium siz e tip.

I like this meter because I can see the colors at a glance, which reflect the status of the air quality. We focus on the TVOC levels and the concentration of particles in the air. If the concentration exceeds 0.5, you should wear a mask, as the fumes will start to affect your health. Here’s how to maintain a safe working environment.
1- Ensure clean air flows into your working environment. While it's common to stand over a VAT or printer, use a fan to blow from the side to minimize concentrated fumes in the workspace.
2- Resin is improving, but don't be fooled by the lack of odor water base or solvent both will cause health problems.
3- Air purifiers can be effective, but only if you maintain the filters and change them on schedule.
4- Keep a small fan running continuously and place another fan next to a window. You can use smart plugs to activate the fans before you enter the room. Have an exhaust fan that pulls the air away from the enviroment and another air source that has clean air coming in. Air flow is the key to clean air, movement will break the concentration of particles. Try it...
5- By no means is this a substitute for wearing a mask when exposed for long periods in a closed environment.
