It is our International Women's Week! Today we would like to introduce Dr. Jyothi Sunny, Development Lead and Senior Scientist. She works in the Development Group at Master Builders Solutions in Shakopee, Minnesota, USA and is responsible for the new product development of sealants, coatings, grouts and adhesives based on reactive resin chemistry. Over the last 17 years she has developed several products which have become very successful commercially.
“I am very passionate about creating innovative solutions for our customers’ needs. For me, working at MBCC Group means, I can work on a variety of technologies to create new and innovative products for the construction industry. Our high-strength epoxy grout MasterFlow 648 is a good example of this,” she says.
What advice would she give someone who is about to (re-)start their career? “Always keep a curious mind to understand how things work in the construction world and seek opportunities (…) rather than wait for somebody to give them to you. Finally, don’t be afraid to ask if you don’t know the answer and keep in mind that it is part of developing yourself and others.”
