🌍 Ukraine at ChangeNOW 2025: Innovating for a Sustainable Global Future 🇺🇦

From April 24–26, Ukraine proudly presented its boldest innovations at ChangeNOW 2025 at the Grand Palais in Paris — the world’s largest event for the planet. 🌱

🚀 At Ukraine House, we showcased groundbreaking solutions from a country that continues to innovate even in the face of war. Our delegation brought together three institutions, three exhibiting solutions, and seven visionary startups working across health, water, mobility, the circular economy, inclusion, education, and more.

We were honored to welcome to Ukraine House:
H.E. Vadym Omelchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to France, whose leadership and commitment continue to amplify Ukraine’s vision on the international stage.

• Recast Plastic – turning recycled plastic into architectural elements and furniture for shelters
• Recup Green – creating circular systems for HoReCa by reusing packaging and industrial waste
• S. Lab – producing biodegradable packaging from agricultural waste and mushroom roots
• Swapp – a Gen-Z marketplace for secondhand fashion powered by AI and smart recommendations
• Wood Mood – crafting handmade wooden candles and sustainable home décor

Ukraine House at ChangeNOW demonstrates how resilience fuels innovation. Ukraine is building solutions not only for its own future but for the future of the planet.

VivaTech is one of Europe's largest technology conferences, bringing together hundreds of thousands of tech enthusiasts, startups, and investors from around the globe every year. Among its participants are major tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon.

This year, VivaTech will take place from June 11 to 14 in Paris. We are looking for 16 ambitious tech startups and companies eager to make their mark on the international stage.

🤖 La French Tech Kyiv at the National Council of French Tech Capitals and Communities

On December 18, La French Tech Kyiv had the opportunity to take part in the National Council of French Tech Capitals and Communities, organized by the Secretariat of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs.

📋 2025-2027 Roadmap: The day kicked off with an overview of the key priorities for the next three years, presented by Julie Huguet, Director of the French Tech Mission.

💬 Workshops in Action: We joined the session on how to better leverage the network’s knowledge. Topics included practical guides, sharing key data, and connecting French and international ecosystems more effectively.

🤖 Spotlight on AI: The afternoon was dedicated to AI initiatives across French Tech communities, with engaging discussions led by Clara Chappaz, Secretary of State for AI and Digital Affairs. A great opportunity to hear fresh ideas and insights.

🚀 And some exciting news: Julie Huguet mentioned she’s planning to join us in Ukraine for our next tech and innovation learning expedition. We can’t wait to show her what our local ecosystem has to offer!

Salut les amis francophones qui sont dans la tech! Et qui veulent se plonger dans l'unique écosystème tech Ukrainien! C'est l'occasion de comprendre ce qu'il y a d'unique dans la résilience de la tech pendant la guerre, mais aussi de participer activement au soutien de l'Ukraine, en faisant ce que nous savons faire: des affaires et de la tech.

L'Ukraine n'a pas que besoin de nous militairement. On peut vraiment les aider en nouant des partenariats, en faisant des affaires, et aussi en se positionnant pour l'après. Et vous allez en apprendre beaucoup plus que ce que vous pensez!

A new logo, a new label for 3 years and high ambitions for La French Tech Kyiv 🇨🇵 🇺🇦

Our board and community will continue to stand with Ukraine and support the technological innovation between our two countries!
The Tech Industry in Ukraine is powerful, currently demonstrating a huge impact to fight the war and an advanced innovation touching any industry for the past years!

The Tech ecosystem will also be in the first line when the reconstruction comes and it needs to be prepared from now!

La French Tech Kyiv is here to remind to France and the world about our friendship with Ukraine, the importance of the tech innovation, the high talent of Ukraine for this area and the need of international collaboration between our two nations and ecosystems.
