The company LIRA SAPR participated in the international scientific conference “Civil Safety Engineering under UAV Combat Threats”, held at University of Zielona Góra (Zielona Góra, Poland). The event was organized by the University’s Institute of Civil Engineering and the Lubusz Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers.
Experts from the company presented two scientific reports:
“Strength Assessment of Civil and Protective Structures under Blast and Impact Loads” — Maria Barabash, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of LIRA SAPR.
“Peculiarities of Analysis of Buildings and Structures under Blast Loading” — Oleksiy Bashynskyi, PhD (Tech.), Lead Engineer at LIRA SAPR.
The conference addressed current issues related to the protection of civil infrastructure against UAV and missile strikes, reconstruction of damaged buildings, and specific aspects of structural analysis under impact and blast loads.

The event contributed to the development of scientific collaboration between engineers and researchers from Ukraine and Poland.

UPDATE 3 FOR LIRA-FEM 2025 R2
✅The stability of the program and the accuracy of calculations have been improved.
✅Crash errors, as well as errors in load generation, errors related to er****on stages, openings and complex geometry have been eliminated.
✅The processing of dynamic problems has been optimised and the analyses for punching shear, steel and reinforced concrete sections have been refined.

Residential Building with Underground Parking
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
This project demonstrates the application of Eurocodes in the structural analysis and design of a multi-storey residential building with underground parking in Vilnius, Lithuania. The structural calculations and reinforcement design were performed using the LIRA-FEM software suite, ensuring compliance with European structural design standards and modern BIM workflows.
