Uploaded a fresh selection of collage posters for the National House of Music to my Behance portfolio — and took the chance to review all my visuals and do a bit of self-reflection along the way. Conclusions as old as time: less is more. No more random elements. A strong idea — even imperfectly executed — works better than polished visuals without one.

Once I made the identity for the literature festival “Crimean fig”. It was long ago, while I had been closely working with “Crimean House Ukraine” in Kyiv.
Many years passed, but the identity keeps livind and shining in different arrangements. Someone works with my elements, creating more and more colorful visions of it.
You know, it is really happy feeling!

Час від часу чути: "Чому так багато біженців, хай їдуть додому". Але, власне, куди? Якщо почати дізнаватися, скільки українців втратили свої домівки або мають їх непридатними до життя -- можна вжахнутися, а також зрозуміти, чому вони ніяк не повернуться додому.

Тут два фонди, які допомагають українцям відновити житло:

https://hatynka.org/en/ будують тимчасові сучасні модульні будиночки, щоб сім'ї могли перебувати там і поступово відновлювати своє житло.

https://myhomefund.org/ донатять на відновлення конкретних осель людей із Київської області. Список осель і суми, що потрібні для відновлення кожної з них -- на сайті.

From time to time we hear: "Why are there so many refugees, let them go home". But, in fact, where should they go?
If we start to find out how many Ukrainians have lost their homes or have them damaged, we will be horrified with numbers, and we will understand why they don`t return home.

Here are two foundations that help Ukrainians rebuild their homes:

https://hatynka.org/en/ builds temporary modern modular houses so families can stay there and gradually restore their homes.

https://myhomefund.org/ donates money for the restoration of specific houses for people from Kyiv region. The list of houses and the amount of money needed to restore each of them is on the website.

Друк постера на різографі в два кольори.
Це неймовірний досвід роботи з машиною, коли підготовка до друку вирішує все, і якщо вона правильна -- отримуєш результат набагато кращий ніж навіть очікуєш. А якщо неправильна -- отримуєш красивий артичтичний твір, якість якого сама по собі несе прекрасне)

Вражає також швидкість роботи машини, око навіть не встигає дивитися, а камера знімати.
