Throughout the programme, our Young Talents gained valuable office-based work experience while also having the opportunity to strengthen their industry knowledge and practical field experience through technical visits to Albay Çiğiltepe Wind Power Plant, Efeler Geothermal Power Plant and the Ancient City of Ephesus.

What Is FFT (Fast Fourier Transform)?
Vibration signals are measured on the time axis. However, most faults are more easily detected in the frequency domain. The Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is a mathematical method that converts a time signal into its frequency components.

Thanks to this analysis, the following can be determined much more clearly:

What Is Vibration Monitoring?

Vibration monitoring is the process of continuously measuring and analyzing the vibrations generated by rotating equipment.

Every piece of rotating machinery has its own unique vibration signature. These characteristics change when issues such as bearing wear, gearbox damage, imbalance, or misalignment occur.
By detecting these changes early, vibration monitoring helps identify potential faults before they lead to costly failures or unplanned downtime.

Within the scope of the GÜRİŞ Young Talent Program 2026 Spring Term Technical Tour, our young talents had the opportunity to visit the KOCATEPE WIND POWER PLANT, HYBRID SOLAR POWER PLANT and EFELER GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT facilities, observing renewable energy production processes firsthand. At the cultural stop of the technical tour, Ephesus Ancient City was visited, where the traces of history and civilization were explored. This experience provided our young talents with both industry knowledge and a cultural perspective.

What Is Condition Monitoring?

This enables maintenance teams to take the necessary actions before unplanned outages occur.
