Al Khazen soft was founded in Damascus in the year 1986, It worked in developing an accounting program according to MS - DOS system. The initial copy of the program issued in 1987, and distributed commercially inside Damascus in the year 1988, under the name: (Al Khazen V.0 for Accounting), It was one of the first software programs works in the Syrian markets. Big sets of analytical accounting and

stocks reports were added to the program, and the program began to support the network environment, and also users' authority's management. It was under the name: (Al Khazen 3.5 for accounting and Stocks), where it spreaded widely to be considered as the best accounting program in terms of quality, stability and performance and speed. In the year 2000, database system (Microsoft SQL Server 2000) was applied for storing the information of the program, where the program became able to deal with a huge quantity of data, and a great number of users. Also, this version was issued to work in accordance with Windows under the name: (Al-Khazen.net for account and stocks). It satisfies the requirements of the modern accounting and administrative environment, Starting from operations registering, transferring of the data, then to generate the analytical detailed reports, which make the duty of the accountants easy, and help the managers to take decisions. The distribution of this version began in Syria, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and most Arab countries, where it met with the satisfaction of accountants and decision makers for providing confidence, a quick performance, and flexibility in the work. Since it released the first version of Al Khazen for accounting and stocks in 1988. Al Khazen soft continued developing its' accountancy system to fit the requirements of the market and its rapid continuous development. And during the years of hard work, the company could produce several versions of Al Khazen for accounting and stocks starting by initial release and ending by version 6.
