Gemtel Green Network was licensed by the Government of South Sudan (GOSS) in 2006 and launched commercial GSM services shortly after in the cities of Juba and Yei. Later in February 2010, Green Networks acquired an 80% stake in the South Sudanese. Gemtel Green Network employs 100 highly skilled and qualified staff and 35 support staff to ensure the best services to its customers. We have representative offices in all 10 states and 2 customer care center in Juba. With 135 employees and 5 Hardware engineers and 3 Software engineers in telecom with qualifications ranging from Microsoft Certified Applications Developer, (MCAD) Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, CCSP , CCIP, and ITIL Gemtel’s customers are secured in this rather uncertain world of technology. As the roots of South Sudan, Gemtel Green Network intends to extend its footprint to cover 80% of the population by 2012 with its ambitious roll out program.
