Twenty years ago, a Parisian perfumer told me: “But you are not Pierre.”
It changed everything.
Designers are cooked — that is the verdict multiplying on LinkedIn this week. Claude generates brand identities in seconds. Animated, coherent, aesthetic.
And what?
Pierre was not selling pretty pictures. He was selling validation. His orbit. His influence. That is why his website cost 60,000 euros.
The question was never whether AI can design a logo. The question is what a client actually buys when they choose a designer.
The proof is not theoretical. Studio Najbrt released a red square for KVIFF 2026. Instagram exploded. AI did not generate that reaction. Decades of client relationship and an entire body of work behind it did.
In the era where Claude generates our identities, be Pierre. Because the logo was never the point. You are the point.
