We are proud to share that A/Prof Suranga Nanayakkara was invited to speak at the launch of the first Llama Incubator in Singapore — a pioneering partnership between Meta, industry, and the Singapore Government focused on accelerating AI-driven innovation.

The Llama Incubator is supporting 40 businesses over six months, helping startups and SMEs integrate AI into their operations using Meta’s Llama technology. In his session, A/Prof Suranga highlighted how human-centered AI solutions, like AiSee, are using Llama to reshape the way blind and low vision users interact with visual information.

We are thrilled to share that AiSee was highlighted during the Zero Project Asia Pacific Symposium 2024! This year’s theme, “Tech for All: Enabling Independence and Inclusion through ICT,” resonated deeply with our mission to empower individuals with disabilities through cutting-edge assistive technology.

Our device, AiSee, was featured during the session led by A/Prof Suranga Nanayakkara as part of a thought-provoking panel exploring how ICT innovations are breaking barriers and redefining inclusion. From the research phase of AiSee to its real-world impact, A/Prof Suranga shared insights into how the device fosters independence and trust for users with visual impairments.

This impactful session brought together leaders in the field to explore Real-world applications of assistive technologies like AiSee, the importance of cross-sector collaboration and Policies that support ICT accessibility.

We were honored to see AiSee featured as part of this dialogue, alongside other pioneering projects and voices.
