to times when traveling exists in reality and not in memories,

when airplanes carry exciting itineraries and fond memories instead of viruses,

how we used to share about vacations instead of vaccinations,

and experiencing foreign cultures instead of exercising home isolation.

Take this as a sign that it is VERY important to ❤️take breaks for yourself❤️ in order to cope with all the overwhelming s**t right now. We should not be burning out just because we are not heading out.

And in case no one tells you, I’m here to say that you are a badass cupcake and tough lil cookie to have made it thus far, and I hope you will always priortise your physical and mental wellbeing above everything else. YOU are important. YOU deserve to rest. And YOU deserve happiness among the chaos😘

Less is always more 💕 Have been aiming for a minimalist, simple way of living these days by cutting a lot of unnecessary things off my life and taking care of myself 💖 This includes minimizing my skincare routine to only the essentials!

💕TRUECARE Panthenol 10 Moisture Skin💕 is a SUPER lightweight toner (perfect for our weather!) and it REALLY HYDRATES the hell out of my dehydrated-oily skin! It layers well on its own and also before all other serums and moisturizers.

It has minimal ingredients and no fragrance, 10% Panthenol to strengthen skin’s moisture barrier and hydrates, and also Citric Acid aka AHA to gently exfoliate.

💕TRUECARE Non-Nano Sunscreen💕 is a gem for me but it’s not for everyone. It has everything you can ask for in a sunscreen - SPF48, PA+++, watery texture, not tacky, even with blue light protection!

However, the thing about physical sunscreen is still the visible white cast. I’m fair so it‘s not obvious on me but it’s definitely not for darker skin tones. You also do need finishing powder or you might look greasy.

I really like the cleanser’s citrus scent and it doesn’t dry me out. Used the AC soothing serum + intensive balm on top of the toner for a couple of nights and no breakouts, supple skin and zero dryness. Very impressed!

Long gone were the days when we can have travel plans and buy lots of foreign goodies in person. It feels weird to look back at those good times after digging through the photos in my phone, kinda like an in-between of “Gosh if I get to travel again I’ll make a kickass itinerary” and “I wonder when will traveling to another country ever happen”😪👋🏻

It’s been a weird few months for the whole world. Everything we had once thought was ordinary is now a luxury, lifestyle patterns have drastically changed; safety is staying away from crowds, and security is staying healthy within four walls🏠

At least we can still go out in Phase 2 now, albeit the crazy queues and pointing my phone at QR codes more than at my food / myself. Life isn’t toooo boring, but the social measures are really killing all my enthusiasm in heading out (Still shopped a lot online though lol 😂)

I was never a huge fan of Tequila coz of the really overpowering taste but this cocktail is surprisingly very refreshing and easy to drink! 😌🙌🏻’s called Tahona Punch, made with Blanco. Really changed my impression for drinks.

Long weekend ahead for me coz birthday is coming in a couple of days! 😘❤️ Have so many things planned and I wanna make myself happy! Most importantly, I really need a break from everything.

I can’t live without desserts and if I can only eat one type of dessert for the rest of my life, it has to be lemon tarts🍋🍋 Those close to me would know I’m obsessed with anything citrusy, and I love sweet stuff with an obvious sour note in them😌

My favourite lemon tarts in Singapore comes from and I had two delivered to my doorstep the other day 🥰 Totally made my day!

It’s the last day of May today and officially June tomorrow, which is my birthday month🙌🏻❤️ Where’s all my fellow !

As my birthday approaches, it means it’s time to start reflecting on my life choices made in this whole year🌹

The other day I randomly saw a quote on my time feed - “Do what makes your soul happy” and I paused.

Do you remember the last time you were really happy? Do you remember what are some of your favourite things to do that makes you tingle with excitement, before this whole pandemic started or heck, before reality and responsibilities took away all your time and killed all the fun?

When was the last time you did something spontaneous for yourself and catch yourself smiling unknowingly? When was the last time you put that smile on someone you love?

I love desserts🍰and I adore colours🌈 I love photography and I love making things beautiful. It’s been a really depressing few months now so I’ve been investing my time in making myself happier. I know I won’t be celebrating much since Singapore is still going through circuit breaker, but thank goodness for food delivery options!

TGIF all ❤️ Enjoying my favourite - Chivas Regal Extra after work at house now, and I hope everyone is doing well too.

One thing this pandemic has taught me, is definitely to be grateful for what you have. Too often, we take things for granted - loved ones, good health, income, freedom, and even daily essentials👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🎊💰

As much as the whole situation can get mentally suffocating and boring, let’s not forget that it’s also a good chance to take a break from schedules, catch up on sleep, check up on people, and plan for better comeback in the future. For those who still has a job and are healthy now, let’s never forget how damn blessed we are 🙏🏻 Please be kind to those who are not doing as well and be socially responsible 😌🙌🏻

Fighting all the moody stuff on my news feed these days with some and 🌹🌸🌿🎨🧡💖🌈

2020 seems to start on a very uncomfortable note - disasters, viruses, heartaches and losses all around the world.

A bad start means that the rest of the year can only get better. Let’s just stay hopeful and brave through all these low periods together.

Last month I finally plucked up courage to go for my first class🎨 It’s been on my wishlist forever and even though I’m a graphic designer, I was uncertain about handling a . Gotta say I’m really pleased with my amateur masterpiece hahaha😌
