s spread out. Others in her shoes may have seen them as setbacks. But she chose to see them as something more exciting – opportunities. At the job marketplace, she found little kick in mundane jobs, and took on the outward-bound sales profession. The element of uncertainty intrigued her, as she often had to seek new opportunities on her own will to write her pay cheque. After the media firm she was working for called it a day, Serene made the leap of faith once again. With sound networks with key industry players in the publishing business and her passion to make a difference to individuals, she found her new calling. And she named her brainchild – Black Key, the key to “unlocking opportunities”, just as she has been throughout her life.

‘Black’ symbolises sophistication and dignity, and together with it, a sense of the unknown. And with the ‘Black Key’ at work, the opportunities unlocked can be endless.
