Sanct, a Singapore-registered start-up building a social app for close friends and family, will exhibit at Tech in Asia Conference 2026 at Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 15–16 September, booth SF09 in the Showcase Zone. On Tuesday at 3.01pm Singapore time, right from the booth, Sanct launches on Product Hunt, with founder Sion Abednego available for meetups and interviews. Unlike typical social apps, Sanct requires first friends to be added in person by scanning QR codes, with search and friend suggestions unlocking only after five connections and limited to friends of friends. Visitors who add Sanct at the booth can take home limited free swag including sticker packs, tote bags, and embroidered caps while stock lasts. Sanct has no ads, no public feed, and does not sell user data, with core features remaining free after launching first in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
