As a Project Executive, you will provide assistance to the Project Manager in the area of IT project management. The Project Executive will administer and organize all project activities in cooperation with and under the direction of the Project Manager with the goal being smooth ex*****on of the project.
Key responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager to oversee the project from start to finish.
Assist in managing vendors to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
Assist in maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Participate in project planning and coordinate project activities, resources and equipment.
Provide support and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
Assist in organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
Managing calendars, schedules and sending out meeting invites to relevant stakeholders
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, scorecards, dashboards, reports and necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensure all documents and trackers are up-to-date and accurate.
Assist in tracking project milestones and deliverables. Ensure action items are acted upon in a timely manner.
Report and escalate issues to Project Manager as necessary.
Assist in issuing official paperwork, such as purchase order, invoices, procurement and payments.
Providing administrative support as needed.
Requirements:
Diploma preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration, Business Communications, or related field of study.
Fresh graduates are welcome
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Knowledge & file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
Ability to work with tight deadlines.
Willingness to learn.
