Can’t reveal too much of this secret commission yet. But here are some snippets of the final piece.

Painting clouds is always such a therapeutic experience because I let go of the desire to paint them perfectly and just let it flow.

This was essentially how the impressionists painted, loose strokes that resulted in a painterly look and feel.

Some thoughts I have been grappling with recently is the notion that artists can be replaced, with ai on the rise taking over almost all types of jobs. While I do not claim to have a solution, my response is one of defiance and rebellion: if artists are going to be replaced so be it - that will not stop me from picking up the paintbrush. A world that does not appreciate raw human craft and expression is not a world I would want to be a part of. Life is already absurd as it is, embracing it is my choice.
