The importance of layer based design.
Had to do a fix on my vacation and of course I do not have the hardware with me. But the layer based design made it easy to only write one low-level class to simulate the hardware. Then it was easy to feed stimuli into the real code.

After 9 years and 3 motherboard changes the server has finally retired.
Thank you for your 24/7 non stop dedication and may you live the rest of your life peacefully idling...

Our new server has now taken over all the previous tasks.
Business as usual...

IR-Camera locates broken component.

The new controller board had a flaw that broke something. To find this would be time consuming so we used an IR-Camera testo 890-2 from Testo.

We first took a reference image from a working controller board and then one from the faulty board and the issue was spotted instantly. Then the reference board again, but under stress. We found the design flaw in minutes instead of weeks...

We are in the electrical construction phase of a new product for Cetwin System Solutions. It will be constructed around an ATMEL SAM3U2E processor running on an Cortex M3 ARM core.
