This Wednesday, we were proud to open our doors to the tim.js - Timișoara JavaScript Community for their #107 meetup.

Forget the usual JS deep-dives. This one went somewhere different. The community came together to talk about AI, tech fatigue, and what it really means to stay relevant as a developer today.

The audience had questions. A lot of them. And that's exactly the kind of meetup that matters. The most valuable thing a tech community can build isn't just skills, but connection and dialogue.

A huge thank you to the speakers, Anca Spatariu and Adrian Faciu, for bringing the energy, the honesty, and the insights that made the evening what it was. 🙌

One of the things we're genuinely proud of at Haufe Group Romania is 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 we get to work with every day.

Last week, our colleague, 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏ă𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭, spoke at not one but two events:
- 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠, where he talked about how we actually use agentic AI in production
- 𝐙𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐓𝐌 (the first edition) on a panel about AWS Secure Architecture.

Two events, two very different rooms, one consistent thing: showing up prepared, speaking from real experience, and putting Haufe Group Romania on the map in the process.

This is the team we've built. People who are great at what they do and aren't shy about sharing it.

👨‍💻 𝐀𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅â𝐜𝐢𝐮 is going to flip how you think about web apps: what if your app wasn't a UI anymore, but a set of tools an AI agent uses for your users? He's done it. He'll show you how.

😅 𝐀𝐧𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐩ă𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐮 is going to say out loud what every developer has been thinking but is too scared to post: yes, AI is incredible. 🎓 Big day in Timișoara!

Last Saturday, our colleague, Mihai Burada, Enterprise Architect, had the honor of representing Haufe Group Romania at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Informatics, Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara. Thank you, Cosmin Bonchis and Sebastian Stefaniga, for the invitation. And thank you, Mihai, for being there and for carrying our values to the students. 🙏

We awarded a special prize to a student with extraordinary academic results. Hard work, late nights, and passion for code, this one's for you. You earned it. 🏆

To every graduate reading this:

5,000+ people. One city. Timotion. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Haufe Group Romania was part of 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 2026, the biggest charity sports event in western Romania, and we showed up the way we always do: as a team, and as part of this city.⁣⁣

We had our own race - the 𝐇𝐚𝐮𝐟𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬, 10 km through Timișoara. People who train regularly and people who signed up just to be there. All of them crossing the finish line. All of them running for something bigger than a personal best.⁣⁣

Because that's what 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is about. Every step, every kilometer, every entry fee goes directly to community projects. This year, 42 of them, across health, education, social inclusion, and culture.⁣⁣

We're proud to be part of this community, not just as a tech company, but as neighbors, runners, and people who genuinely care about what happens here. 🧡

⚡ Saturday was a special day at our office.

Students came in, got a challenge, and had one goal: build something real. We're talking actual web apps, actual deadlines, all to win a spot in our Summer Practice Program.

If you're a student and you're seeing this thinking "that looks fun", you're right. It was. And we are so proud of everyone who came and gave it a real shot. 💻☀️

A huge thank you to the deans of our two partner faculties: Sebastian Stefaniga from UVT and Ovidiu Banias from UPT. Your support made this possible and we don't take that lightly.

And to the students, whether you got a spot or not: you spent a Saturday building something real. That already puts you ahead.

We went to 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐓𝐄𝐂 yesterday with a stand, some goodies, and one rule: you have to earn them. 🧩

Turns out teenagers and students in Timișoara are very, very motivated when there's something on the line. 😄

The event itself — a project by on the banks of the Bega — brought together students, industry partners, and some genuinely great energy. Boat races on the river included.

To everyone who stopped by our stand, tackled the puzzles, and walked away with something: 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮. You're exactly the kind of curious, driven people this community is built on.

We'll be back next time. With harder puzzles. Don't say we didn't warn you. 👀

What does a strong tech community look like?

350+ people showing up to share, question, and learn. 🙌

Last week at AWS Community Day Romania, the biggest AWS cloud conference in the country, our team was right in the middle of it, as Diamond Partners, part of the organizing crew, and at our booth having some of the best conversations about cloud, careers, and what's coming next in tech.

Oh, and there was fruit. 🍊 Always a good sign.

A week later, one thing still sticks: the cloud is built on technology, but it runs on people.

What does a perfect spring afternoon look like? Yesterday, our team found out. 🚴

We got outside for a bike ride along the city's outskirts, and it turned into one of those afternoons you end up remembering. The route was alive with wildlife, the r**e fields were in full bloom, and the whole thing felt like a proper reset.

It's a reminder that we often don't need much for a great afternoon. Just the right people and a bit of fresh air.
