Best way to start a rainy, grey November Sunday? A good run, along with awesome colleagues by your side🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️. This weekend our most active Xoomies kicked some asphalt during the Wizzair Marathon, sharing a few km & some good times. They even got themselves a shiny medal for crossing the finish line & an army of endorphins to keep the good times rolling😁. Big congrats for being such an inspiration, guys!

This weekend the sun said hello to the mountains like no other🌄. One step at a time, a group of adventurous Xoomies conquered peak Vladeasa, near Cluj-Napoca. They said the view at the top⛰ was pretty amazing & judging by the smiles on their faces it must have worth the climb, for sure😎.

- Process Accounts Receivable invoices and incoming payments in accordance with financial policies and procedures;
- Perform day to day financial transactions into our accounting system: Accounts Receivable invoices, Incoming Payments;
- Prepare daily invoices and download bank statements;
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
- Verify discrepancies and follow-up on clients’ billing issues;
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients;
- Generate monthly accounts receivable ageing reports and report to the Group Financial Controller any collection risks;
Coordinate and follow-up together with business’s PMO – timesheet completion and timesheet accuracy;
- Closely follow and participate to the financial month end closing schedule.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting or Finance;
- Basic accounting knowledge;
Accounts Receivable knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory;
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, including strong phone and e-mail etiquette;
- Good knowledge of Excel;
- High attention to details.

- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
- Self-motivated and passionate;
- Well organized, detail-oriented, analytical;
- Team player with a proactive attitude.

This weekend we broke the routine and took an adventure climbing through the treetops of Adrenalin Park to celebrate the hero inside each of us💪! Feeling the air rush past us as we zipped through the trees, climbed artificial walls, or enjoyed the huge swing reminded us that the best of life happens outside our comfort zone ✨🧗🏽🚵.

We believe that community spirit is needed more than ever during this year, so we were glad to team up with Educalise and support their beautiful project, ‘Scoala de acasa’’. 25 children, who a month ago had no chance at online school, multiplied with their siblings, have a chance at a better future now 😊.

Although we are currently working from home for a few months now, that does not mean we cannot have fun together. On the contrary, our decided to spice up their daily routine by adding a challenge into their tasks for an entire month.
The result? Beautiful memories to remind us that we are still 👍 (digitally connected), we are 🙏 (some prizes have been donated to the less fortunate), and 😁 (see the photos below).

The realities of working from home means your buddies constantly think they should be involved. 🙈
Some of our WFH Assistants have gone above and beyond their regular call of office duties and are even helping their humans with keeping healthy while in isolation! However, some seem to be sleeping on the job.
Nevertheless, we're proud to welcome the latest group of "support staff" to the team, we're sure they will be very helpful throughout this time 😊😍

We sure miss our real-life get-togethers so we currently moved them online for as long as necessary 😊
This week we enjoyed an energizing session of sports led by our colleague Anna Tabacu and we ended the week with a cup of yoga, together with Bianca M. Dumitru. It’s important to stay active while social distancing so make sure you don’t forget to take an active break every day🤸‍♀️🏋️‍♀️
