While I love the painting part, I don’t necessarily like the outlining part and unfortunately, I’m not a natural ‘see it & draw it’ kinda person!
So if any artists have used a good projector option, I would love to hear your recommendations 🙏

Submission for the Golden Coil Design contest 2026!

Inspired by a watercolour floral piece I painted last year. Spring is in full swing here in Hamburg and the flowers are starting to appear…we just need a little more sunshine and heat!

In Bloom 🌸 in honour of the incredible colours popping out of the ground here in Germany as Spring sets in.

Sometimes subtle colour tweaks can make all the difference.
I wasn’t super happy with the original colour of these acrylic florals, but thankfully, Photoshop is a pattern designer’s best friend!

Here is ‘In Bloom’ a beautifully detail floral pattern paired with a simple stripe to complement.

The only painting I managed to do while in Lisbon over Easter! Belém Tower is a stunning, 16th century fortification, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To top it off, it’s not far from Única Fábrica dos Pastéis de Belém where you can find the most incredible Portuguese tarts 🤤 🇵🇹 highly recommend!!!

The tile work in this area, and throughout Lisbon & Cascais, is incredible! Can’t wait to use it as inspiration for some upcoming patterns!

LEST WE FORGET.

Taking ANZAC biscuits into my kids’ International School in Germany today to celebrate ANZAC Day, the 110th anniversary. I’m loaded with red cupcake wrappers and pipe-cleaners for each of the kids to make a poppy to take home 🍪 🇦🇺 🌺

From the stunning blues’s of Portugal’s incredible tile-clad buildings…happy Easter! I hope it was filled with chocolate, laughter and happiness…as all Sundays should be!

We spent the day with chicken skin, braving the 15-degree waters of the North Atlantic Ocean off Cascais, Portugal!!
