Gemma is looking forward to speaking to 250 16-18 year olds from around the world this evening at King's College London. The topic? finding balance in an increasingly connected world. They have been labelled by media and researchers as 'iGen, Generation Z, Post-millennials, Digital Natives, Net Gen, Gen Tech'...the list goes on. Don't you think it's time they had their own say? It will be really interesting to hear their perspective and hopefully some of them will join us on this group to get the conversation going again!

The Children's Commissioner for England wants the internet to be a place where children can be citizens not just users and creative but not addicted. The Growing Up Digital Taskforce is calling for the creation of a digital citizenship programme, to be compulsory in every school from 4-14 years.

One thing I could always count on when I was bored as a kid were the fields. A free, gigantic playground full of adventures, smells and sensations for me to learn from.
