Behind them, the parents’ joyful expressions reflect the quiet fulfilment of family life, while green and blue blend into the background — a subtle symbol of their role in the family’s harmony.

Somos todos ilhas
Blue and green reflect the colours of the Hospital da Horta logo. One figure gently supports the other, while their shadows form an “H” — for Hospital, Horta and Humanisation. A reflection on care, presence and the human connection at the heart of healthcare.
My contribution, as a member of the hospital’s Humanisation Committee, to the collective exhibition Cuidar é estar presente, displayed in the CT scan waiting room at Hospital da Horta.

O azul e o verde refletem as cores do logótipo do Hospital da Horta. Uma figura apoia suavemente a outra, enquanto as suas sombras formam um “H” — de Hospital, Horta e Humanização. Uma reflexão sobre o cuidado, a presença e a ligação humana no centro dos cuidados de saúde.
A minha contribuição, enquanto membro da Comissão de Humanização do Hospital da Horta, para a exposição coletiva Cuidar é estar presente, patente na sala de espera da TAC.
