Winners are taken to the Asia Pacific ICT Awards each year to promote Pakistan's brilliance on a global forefront. The P@SHA ICT Awards, the flagship event of the Pakistan IT & ITES industry, was first launched in 2004. Its aim is to provide recognition to software and service applications that have been developed in Pakistan, by providing companies an opportunity to gain local, regional and international exposure through on-going promotional activities, and through participation at the international Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA). The top winners of the product categories of the P@SHA ICT Awards are nominated for representation at the annual Asia Pacific ICT Awards. Objectives of the Awards Program:
