🚨 Back in 2021, the United Nations voted on something very simple:
Should access to food be considered a fundamental human right?
186 countries voted YES.
Only 2 countries voted NO:
🇺🇸 United States
🇮🇱 Israel
Read that again.
Almost the entire planet agreed that human beings should not starve.
America and Israel opposed it.
🚨 The UN resolution specifically reaffirmed:
“The right of everyone to be free from hunger.”
It also warned that starving civilians during war is prohibited under international law.
Destroying:
• food systems
• crops
• water supplies
• livestock
• aid access
was explicitly condemned.
Four years later…
look at Gaza.
🚨 Gaza is now being described by UN officials as:
“the hungriest place on Earth.”
Over 2 million Palestinians trapped.
Children starving.
Mothers malnourished.
Food aid blocked.
Agricultural land destroyed.
Water systems collapsing.
UNICEF says:
• 71,000 children urgently need treatment for acute malnutrition
• 17,000 mothers are suffering severe nutritional crisis
Meanwhile over 100,000 tonnes of food reportedly sit outside Gaza waiting for entry.
🚨 Israel blocked food and medicine for nearly 3 months.
Now only tiny amounts of aid are entering after global outrage exploded over starvation images.
Even Netanyahu reportedly admitted pressure was growing because allies were reacting to “images of hunger.”
So the aid trickles in just enough to manage headlines…
while famine keeps spreading.
🚨 The UN warned years ago exactly about this scenario.
The same resolution the U.S. and Israel opposed stated clearly:
“Starvation of civilians as a method of combat is prohibited.”
Now humanitarian groups, UN officials, doctors, and aid agencies are accusing Israel of doing exactly that.
🚨 And here’s the part many people find unbelievable:
There is effectively no enforcement.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants.
Nothing happened.
UN agencies warn of famine.
Nothing happens.
Aid workers are killed.
Nothing happens.
Because when powerful states violate international law…
international law suddenly becomes optional.
🚨 Gaza’s food system has been shattered.
According to UN data:
• 82% of cropland damaged
• nearly 70% of agricultural wells damaged
• 96% of cattle dead
• 99% of poultry gone
This is not just war damage anymore.
This is the destruction of the basic ability to survive.
🚨 Then comes the biggest hypocrisy of all.
Western governments constantly lecture poorer countries about:
• human rights
• democracy
• international law
• humanitarian values
But when mass starvation unfolds in Gaza in front of the entire world…
suddenly:
• laws become flexible
• outrage disappears
• accountability vanishes
🚨 The 2021 UN vote now looks terrifying in hindsight.
Almost every country on Earth said:
Food is a human right.
America and Israel said:
No.
And today Gaza is starving.
❓If food is not considered a guaranteed human right…
then what exactly stops starvation from becoming a weapon of war?
