1. Don’t use Ctrl+Alt+Del!

اس وقت گوگل کے چیف ایکزیکٹیو "سندرراجن پچائی" ہیں ۔ جن کا تعلق بھارت سے ہے۔ ان کی سالانہ تنخواہ پاکستانی روپے میں 2 ارب روپے سے زائد بنتی ہے۔ جو کہ اس وقت دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ تنخواہ لینے والے ملازم بھی ہیں ۔ آئیے ان کے بارے میں دوستوں کو کچھ معلومات فراہم کرتے ہیں۔کہ ایک دو کمروں کے گھر میں چٹائی پر بیٹھ کر پڑھنے والا شخص کس طرح گوگل کا سی ای او بنا ۔

سندر پچائی تامل ناڈو کے شہر مدورائی کا رہنے والا تھا جو کہ 12 جولائی 1972 کا پیدا ہوا۔اس نے غربت میں آنکھ کھولی‘ والد رگوناتھ پچائی الیکٹریکل انجینئر تھا لیکن خاندان کی آمدنی بہت محدود تھی‘ گھر دو کمروں کا فلیٹ تھا‘ اس فلیٹ میں اس کا ٹھکانہ ڈرائنگ روم کا فرش تھا‘ وہ فرش پر چٹائی بچھا کر بیٹھ جاتا تھا‘ وہ پڑھتے پڑھتے تھک جاتا تھا تو وہ سرہانے سے ٹیک لگا کر فرش پر ہی سو جاتا تھا‘ ماں کے ساتھ مارکیٹ سے سودا لانا‘ گلی کے نلکے سے پانی بھرنا‘ تار سے سوکھے کپڑے اتارنا اور گلی میں کرکٹ کھیلنے والے بچوں کو بھگانا بھی اس کی ذمہ داری تھی‘ گھر کی مرغیوں اور ان کے انڈوں کو دشمن کی نظروں سے بچانا بھی اس کی ڈیوٹی تھی اور شہر بھر میں کون سی چیز کس جگہ سے سستی ملتی ہے‘ یہ تلاش بھی اس کا فرض تھا اور باپ اور ماں دونوں کی جھڑکیاں کھانا بھی اس کی ذمہ داری تھی‘ وہ بارہ سال کا تھا جب ان کے گھر ٹیلی فون لگا‘ اس فون نے اس کا کام بڑھا دیا‘ وہ فلیٹس کے اس پورے بلاک کا پیغام بر بن گیا‘ لوگ اس کے گھر فون کر کے بلاک کے دوسرے فلیٹس کےلئے پیغام چھوڑتے تھے اور وہ یہ پیغام پہنچانے کےلئے اٹھ کر دوڑ پڑتا تھا‘ وہ جوانی تک ٹیلی ویژن اور گاڑی کی نعمت سے بھی محروم رہا‘ اس کا والد پوری زندگی کار نہیں خرید سکا لیکن آج وہ نہ صرف دنیا کی سب سے بڑی آرگنائزیشن گوگل کا سی ای او تھا بلکہ وہ دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ تنخواہ لینے والا ملازم بھی تھا‘ اس کی سالانہ تنخواہ 20 کروڑ ڈالر طے ہو چکی تھی۔

AT&T’s AirGig uses power lines for multi-gigabit, wireless broadband
T&T announced a new project it has been experimenting with. Project AirGig is a new type of wireless infrastructure which is low-cost and is installed onto an infrastructure that’s existed for decades: power lines.

AirGig essentially piggybacks onto existing power lines and is able to relay a connection using “millimeter wave” (mmWave) signals capable of multi-gigabit speeds to be used as public Wi-Fi access points, home broadband connections, and could be deployed for existing 4G LTE bands and future 5G technologies. AT&T says initial tests showed much promise and it plans to begin field testing in 2017.
