Key Responsibilities:
Verify and update patient billing information after eligibility checks.
Process invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
Handle inquiries from insurance providers and patients regarding billing.
Work with EHR/EMR software for billing and claims processing.
Stay updated on insurance policies, billing regulations, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams for smooth billing operations.
Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and data protection regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
At least 2 years of experience in billing or related fields.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Strong knowledge of billing processes and financial transactions.
Experience with EHR/EMR software.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
