Pakistan Customs has announced new custom duties for iPhone 16, iPhone 15, and earlier models. According to the updated Valuation Ruling 1909 of 2025, duties now start from Rs168,000 and can go up to Rs412,500 depending on the model and storage capacity.

The new rates were set after reviewing 90 days of import data and consulting with industry experts. The valuation update also adjusts the prices for older iPhone models, reflecting their current market value and allowing depreciation for older versions.

Officials expect this change to impact iPhone import costs and local pricing in Pakistan. The updated valuation aims to bring custom duties closer to global market trends for smartphones and other high-end gadgets.
