Fawad Alam, a seasoned Pakistani cricketer, has decided to bring his international career with Pakistan to a close and embark on a new phase in the United States. At the age of 37, he is set to embrace a fresh role as a 'local' player for the Chicago Kingsmen in the Minor League Cricket T20.

This move follows a growing trend among Pakistani players, with notable names such as Sami Aslam, Hammad Azam, Saif Badar, and Mohammad Mohsin, who have transitioned to the United States to pursue their cricketing ambitions.

In the recent year, Alam was part of the Pakistani team in three Test matches against Australia, contributing 33 runs in four innings. He also played in a single Test against Sri Lanka, scoring 25 runs. Subsequently, he was omitted from the Test squad.

Despite his Test debut in 2009 with a century against Sri Lanka, Alam saw limited opportunities, featuring in only two more matches before being dropped from the national squad.

The Holy Kaaba holds a unique significance as the only place in the world where one can pray in all directions. Upon entering the Kaaba, one will notice a distinctive pattern resembling a sajdah on the floor, which is believed to be the spot where Prophet Muhammad PBUH prayed when Makkah was conquered.
