What Is a Roll Cage?
A roll cage is a strong metal safety structure installed inside a car to protect passengers in case the vehicle rolls over, crashes, or hits something hard.
It is mostly made from:
• Steel tubing, or
• Chromoly alloy tubes
Think of it like a protective skeleton inside the car.

🎯 Main Purpose
1. Protects the Driver & Passengers
Prevents the roof from collapsing in a rollover accident.
2. Adds Chassis Strength
Makes the body more rigid, improving handling.
3. Required for Racing
Most motorsport events require roll cages for safety.
4. Improves Drift & Track Performance
Keeps the body stable and reduces flex during hard cornering.
⸻
🏁 Where Roll Cages Are Used
• Drift cars
• Rally cars
• Track cars
• Drag racing cars
• Off-road / safari vehicles

🔩 Types of Roll Cages
1. 4-Point Cage
Basic, rear half cage. Good for street + light track use.
2. 6-Point Cage
Full interior cage with front pillars included.
3. Weld-In Cage
Strongest, custom-fit, used for professional racing.
4. Bolt-In Cage
Easier to install, removable, less strong than weld-in.
