What Is a Roll Cage?

A roll cage is a strong metal safety structure installed inside a car to protect passengers in case the vehicle rolls over, crashes, or hits something hard.

It is mostly made from:
• Steel tubing, or
• Chromoly alloy tubes

Think of it like a protective skeleton inside the car.

1. Protects the Driver & Passengers

Prevents the roof from collapsing in a rollover accident.

2. Adds Chassis Strength

Makes the body more rigid, improving handling.

What Is an ECU?

ECU (Engine Control Unit) is the computer of your car’s engine.
It controls and manages all engine operations to ensure:
• Smooth running
• Best fuel average
• Proper power
• Low emissions

Think of it as the brain of the engine.



🔧 What Does the ECU Control?

The ECU receives signals from sensors and sends commands to parts of the engine.

1. Fuel Injection

Controls how much fuel goes into the engine.

2. Ignition Timing

Decides when the spark plugs should fire.

3. Air–Fuel Mixture

Keeps the ratio perfect for performance and economy.

4. Idle Speed

Controls RPM when the car is not moving.

🔧 How a CVT Works

Main Parts
1. Primary Pulley (Drive Pulley) – Connected to the engine
2. Secondary Pulley (Driven Pulley) – Connected to the wheels
3. Belt or Chain – Connects the two pulleys



Principle
• Both pulleys are variable diameter pulleys.
• When the diameter of one pulley changes, the other changes in the opposite way.
• This changes the effective gear ratio continuously without steps like in regular automatic transmissions.



How it Changes Gears
1. Low Speed / High Torque
• Drive pulley = small diameter
• Driven pulley = large diameter
• Result = more torque to the wheels for acceleration

🔧 How a Radiator Works
1. Coolant Circulation
• The engine generates heat while running.
• A coolant (water + antifreeze) absorbs this heat as it flows through the engine.
2. Heat Transfer
• Hot coolant flows into the radiator.
• The radiator has thin tubes and fins.
• Airflow (from driving or the fan) removes heat from the coolant through these fins.
3. Cooled Coolant Returns
• The now cooler coolant goes back into the engine to absorb more heat.
• This cycle keeps repeating while the engine runs.
