Job Description:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing mobile gaming company seeking an experienced A*O Specialist to join our team. As an A*O Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our game listings across various app stores to improve visibility, drive organic downloads, and enhance user acquisition.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute A*O strategies: Research, analyze, and implement effective A*O strategies to increase organic visibility and improve keyword rankings for our games.
Keyword research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant, high-volume keywords that align with our game's genre, gameplay, and target audience. Utilize industry tools and resources to gain insights into popular search terms.
App store listing optimization: Optimize game titles, descriptions, screenshots, and promotional videos to maximize visibility, convey key features, and entice users to download.
Competitor analysis: Stay up to date with market trends and conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities, benchmark against industry leaders, and differentiate our games.
A/B testing and performance tracking: Continuously test different elements of the app store listing, such as visuals and descriptions, to identify the most effective variations. Track and analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with game developers, marketers, and designers to ensure A*O efforts align with overall marketing and product strategies. Provide guidance and recommendations for optimizing in-game features and user experience.
Stay informed about app store algorithm updates: Keep abreast of changes in app store algorithms and updates to ensure compliance and adapt strategies accordingly.
Reporting and analysis: Generate regular reports on A*O performance, including keyword rankings, conversion rates, and user feedback. Provide insights and actionable recommendations to improve app store performance and drive downloads.
Requirements:
Proven experience in A*O for mobile games: Minimum of X years of experience specifically focused on A*O strategies for games, preferably in the mobile gaming industry.
Deep understanding of app store ecosystems: Familiarity with the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, including their algorithms, guidelines, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills: Proficiency in utilizing A*O tools and analytics platforms to conduct keyword research, track performance, and analyze data.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate A*O strategies, and provide recommendations to improve overall game performance.
Up-to-date knowledge of mobile gaming trends: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and user preferences in the mobile gaming space.
Creative thinking and attention to detail: Ability to think outside the box, generate innovative ideas, and pay meticulous attention to the smallest details when optimizing app store listings.
Results-driven mindset: Proven track record of improving organic visibility, driving downloads, and increasing user engagement through A*O strategies.
