Aimed with the noble desire to becoming the Center for Research in this part of the Country, imbibed with the tradition of the culture of research for global excellence and an indispensable partner of the academe in forming knowledge reservoir through exalted efforts in research implementation, dissemination and utilization. The three processes are believed to be the cornerstones in achie
ving the desired research status. All improvements, innovations, and development shall be based on these three (3) processes, namely:

Research and Publication. Our first reason for being is the conduct of relevant, quality, and desirable researches in various fields of knowledge in aid of the academic needs. As such, procedures and guidelines are created to properly screen and enforce the stringent procedures in determining relevance, quality, and desirability of research proposals. For this reason, we gauge our development in research not by the volume of completed researches but on the three mentioned categories: relevancy, quality, and desirability. Research publication is an important component of research works. It is bridging the gap between "what is" and "what ought to be". Research findings must be shared to all as far as practicable because the success of every research labor rests on its utilization. For this reason, the University Research Center shall maintain its official publications in at least three (3) different media. Ascertaining quality and relevance is a difficult task, which can only be achieved by sending research outputs to international, national, and local refereed journals. This is a test that research topics meet the professional standard in empirical studies. This is our second reason for being. Research dissemination is the bridge between the study and the recipients of the study through publication and other fora where research studies unravel their findings before the scholarly audience and stakeholders. The relevance and desirability of the research study depends on how widely they are disseminated and utilized. Utilization is applying in practice the theories discovered. Research data enrich and increment the baseline of knowledge. Research Linkaging and Networking. Collaborative research efforts lead to greater research productivity. This is our third reason for being. No single enterprise may have the monopoly of information. Our efforts are directed towards achieving productivity in partnership with other universities and research institutions. Sharing research findings is a normal process in this undertaking. Linkaging and networking complement technology and know-how exchange.
