Some football clubs are created to compete.

Others are created because someone believes young people deserve a chance.

That belief is what inspired Spartan FC Calindagan.

Driven by a passion for grassroots football in Negros, the club was established to provide young players with a place to learn, grow, and pursue opportunities through the game. More than developing talent, Spartan FC has always focused on creating an environment where players learn discipline, accountability, teamwork, and respect—values that stay with them long after the final whistle.

The club's identity is rooted in the Spartan spirit: standing together, overcoming challenges, and never leaving a teammate behind. It is a culture where every player is encouraged to improve, support one another, and represent their community with pride.

Football clubs, teams, and players from across Western Visayas and nearby regions are invited to join the 𝐉𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐂 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, a special celebration of football, community, and sportsmanship.

The tournament will be held on 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟕–𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 and will feature multiple age-group and open categories in a 𝟕-𝐚-𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭, providing opportunities for young players, parents, and competitive teams to showcase their skills on the pitch.

80 young athletes. 30 days of learning.
Countless opportunities created.

The 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐈𝐭: 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜 recently concluded in Barangay San Pedro, Puerto Princesa City, bringing together 80 boys and girls aged 5 to 17 for a month of futsal training, teamwork, discipline, and character development.

Organized by the 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 in partnership with 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (𝐔𝐏𝐅𝐂), the program highlights the growing impact of grassroots futsal development in Palawan.

Beyond the clinic, UPFC continues to create pathways for aspiring players through its partnership with the 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 𝐕. 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐓𝐇𝐕𝐌𝐈). Through this collaboration, four incoming Grade 11 female athletes from Palawan qualified for full futsal athletic scholarships at Aquinas School in San Juan City, demonstrating how grassroots sports programs can open doors to life-changing opportunities.

This is more than a futsal summer clinic. It is about investing in young people, building character, and creating opportunities through sport.

There was a time when people in their community wanted to play football, but there was nowhere to go.

No club. No organized training. No pathway for young players who wanted to learn the game.

Instead of waiting for someone else to build it, the people behind EMA Bulacan Highlanders FC decided to create it themselves.

That same mindset continues to define the club today. Football is taught with patience, purpose, and accessibility; making sure opportunities are available regardless of a player's background or financial situation. Their focus has never been about quick success, but about building a culture where players learn the fundamentals, understand the game, develop good character, and grow together as a community.

At the heart of EMA HFC is a simple but powerful belief:

Not every young footballer has the privilege of complete gear but every child deserves the chance to play.

Through the “𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀 𝐆𝐞𝐚𝐫, 𝐒𝐨 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲” project, Villamor FC and Coach Takyo Jardeleza continue to turn compassion into action by providing donated football equipment to aspiring young athletes in need.

Last May 16, another meaningful turnover activity was held in 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚, 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐧, where 25 young footballers from Kinatihan 1 Elementary School received football boots, jerseys, shin guards, and training gear from the project. The activity was more than just a distribution of equipment , it was a reminder that football can 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬, and 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 for children who simply want to keep playing.
