Windows 11 24H2 & 25H2 October 2025 Preview Update: New Start Menu, Admin Protection & Fixes!

Hey tech enthusiasts! Welcome back to AshLyn Tech Chronicles. In today’s Monday vlog, we’re diving into the latest Windows 11 Preview Update for October 2025 — KB5067036 for 24H2 and 25H2 builds (26100.7019 / 26200.7019). This optional update brings exciting new features, improvements, and bug fixes that Windows users will definitely want to know about.

One of the highlights of this update is the redesigned Start Menu. Microsoft has introduced a more adaptive layout, a new grid/category view, and an improved “All apps” presentation, making navigation smoother and more intuitive for everyday users.

The update also introduces color-coded battery icons for both the taskbar and lock screen. This visual update helps users quickly check battery status — whether charging or running low — at a glance, improving your workflow and device monitoring.

May nag-click sa link AND
Nag-purchase sa product gamit link mo (conversion).
✅ So CTR = indicator ng engagement / potential sales, pero hindi pa actual pera.
Mas mataas ang CTR → higher chance na may bibili → mas malaki ang commission.

Out-of-Band Hotfix (KB5070773): Fixes, Improvements, and BSOD Resolution

Overview:
• Released as an Out-of-Band (OOB) patch: KB5070773
• Applies to Windows 11 versions 24H2 (Build 26100.6899) and 25H2 (Build 26200.6899)
• Purpose: Address severe issues from the October 14, 2025 Patch Tuesday update (KB5066835)
• Type: Stability and reliability fix (no new UI or feature updates)

Issues Caused by October 14, 2025 Update:
• BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) errors: ‘UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR’, ‘INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE’
• WinRE (Windows Recovery Environment) bug – USB keyboards and mice stopped working
• Boot loops and crashes, especially on Copilot+ and ARM64 devices
