Any gospel that does not teach grace through faith in the sacrificial death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ alone is an accursed gospel.

The term "accursed" is repeated twice. It is derived from the Greek term anathema. It signifies devoted to God for destruction.

So, what does it mean to be cursed?
According to Matthew chapter 25 and verse 41, to be cursed is to say: "Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels." The curse casts individuals out of God's presence, out of Christ's presence, and into an eternal fire reserved for the devil and his angels.

PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE

Ephesians 2:1–6 (KJV)
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
I love the past, present and future tenses in this portion of the Bible.

Past:
Β· Quickened, it’s done
Β· Were dead, not now
Β· Ye walked, but that was in times past
Β· We all had our conversation, no more
Β· Were by nature, we have a new nature
Β· He loved us, and His love acted
Β· Raised us up together, it’s already happened

Present:
Β· That now worketh, Satan isn’t finished
Β· God … is rich in mercy, praise the Lord
Β· Ye are saved, not future, right now
Β· Made us sit, God sees us as already seated in heavenly places

Future:
Β· It is implied, if God sees us raised and seated in heavenly places, we can be assured it will come to pass.
